Introduction
Super-bright IP65 rated RGBW LED tape which when connected to a controller can produce
any colour of the rainbow. Supplied on 5m reel with an adhesive back this tape is easy to
setup and quick to install. Its 24Vdc supply and low power consumption makes it suitable for
a wide variety of applications from homes to vehicles and from shops to bars and nightclubs.
The LEDs will last up to 50,000 hours and are covered with an epoxy coating to protect the
tape from general wear and tear as well as being water resistant, making cleaning an easy
task.

Installation of this LED tape should be carried out by competent electrical installers, observing the
relevant electrical safety procedures.
Lyyt RGBW LED tape has a self-adhesive backing to allow it to be easily attached to a clean, non-porous
surface.

Where less than 5m of tape is needed, there are solder points as shown below, where the tape may be
cut to size. These cut points are at 10cm intervals. -connect to another length of tape after To re
cutting, strip away the epoxy coating at the solder points and solder a wire from V+, G B and W to , R,
corresponding points on the next length of tape. Some accessories are supplied with the tape reel for
this purpose. retain weatherproofing, it is advised to seal the cuts and joints with silicone glue.To
Each 5m reel of RGBW LED tape is fitted with a 5-pin connector for power input from an RGBW
controller. Ensure that the V+, G B and W pins are connected the correct way round. 24V tape can , R,
be installed in 10m lengths between repeater/amp fiers by using the included 5-pin couplers to li
connect 2 reels together in sequence. The amplifier repeater ensures that extension reels mimic the
colour changes of the original reel as dictated by the controller.
It is imperative that the power supply, controller, and amplifier/repeater should have higher than the
rated capacity in Amps (A) for the current required to power the length(s) of LED tape installed. Please
see the table below for reference.
