GENERAL OPERATION

• Place the heater within reach of a suitable mains socket outlet, on a firm and level surface,

clear of any obstructions and well away from walls / furniture / curtains etc.

• Plug the power cord into the socket outlet and switch on.

• Thisheaterisequippedwithapowerswitchonly. Switch the On/Off switch (located

at the rear of the heater body) to “I” toswitchONtheheater, andflicktheswitchto

“O” toswitchOFFtheheater.

PROTECTION SYSTEM

OverheatProtection

A Thermal Cut-Out is built into this heater to minimize the risk of overheating and maximize

safety to users. A heat sensing device monitors internal temperatures in the appliance.

If heat levels rise beyond a preset safety threshold the Cut-Out will switch off power to the

heat elements, eliminating further danger. When unit has overheated, disconnect from power

supply and allow heater to sufficiently cool down before reusing. Let the heater cool for

approximately 10 minutes, plug back into power supply, it will function normally again.

In the event of a Thermal Cut-Out check for visible obstructions to air inlets. Try moving

the appliance to a new position. Sometimes placement close to walls and furniture can

restrict air movement enough to cause the heater to shut down.

Tip-OverSwitch

There is a tip-over switch attached to the base of the heater. If the heater is not placed on a

flat surface or if it is knocked over, the power to the heater will shut down automatically.
