Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the USB 3.1 Type C to DisplayPort

Convert , bidirectional. This product has been designed to er

provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a

LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To

ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain

it for future reference.

This bidirectional USB 3.1 Type C to DisplayPort Converter

allows to either connect a DisplayPort display to a USB Type C

source device or alternatively a USB Type C display to a

DisplayPort source device. The converter features a USB Type

C plug with pin assignment E as well as one with pin

assignment C to make sure that all kinds of displays with USB

Type C port are supported.

Installation & Operation

The DisplayPort Alternate Mode on the USB Type C connector

standard uses the USB C connector as a video output without

the need for additional drivers or software.

• Connect the USB 3.1 Type C connector with pin assignment

E to the USB Type C port on a source device.

• Connect a Male to Male DisplayPort cable (not included)

from the female DisplayPort on the converter to the

DisplayPort on the display.

• Power on the source and finally the display device.

If you want to connect a display with USB Type C interface to a

PC/source device with DisplayPort output, make sure to use the

USB Type C plug with the correct pin assignment for your

display.

Please Note: When using USB Type C source devices, take care

to insert the pin assignment E USB Type C connector. If the pin

assignment C is connected, no video will be displayed.

Dieser bidirektionale USB 3.1 Typ C auf DisplayPort

Konverter ermöglicht den Anschluss eines DisplayPort-

Monitors an einen Computer mit USB Typ C Port oder

alternativ den Anschluss eines Displays mit USB-Anschluss

Typ C an ein DisplayPort-Quellgerät. Der Konverter verfügt

über je einen USB-Stecker Typ C mit Pinbelegung C und E

um sicherzustellen, dass alle Displays mit USB Typ C Port

unterstützt werden.

Installation & Betrieb

Der DisplayPort Alternate Mode verwendet den USB Typ C-

Anschluss als Videoausgang, eine Installation von Treibern ist

daher nicht erforderlich.

Stecken Sie den USB Typ C-Stecker mit Pinbelegung E des

Konverters in die USB Typ C-Buchse Ihres Computers und

verbinden Sie den DisplayPort-Anschluss des Konverters mit

dem Ihres Monitors. Dazu benötigen Sie ein DisplayPort-

Kabel Stecker Stecker (nicht enthalten), welches im –

Allgemeinen Ihrem Monitor beiliegt. Wenn Sie ein Display mit

USB-Anschluss Typ C mit einer Displayportquelle verbinden

wollen, achten Sie bitte darauf, den USB-Stecker mit der für

Ihr Display geeigneten Pinbelegung C bzw. E zu verwenden.

Beachten Sie bitte, dass nur der USB-Stecker Typ C mit

Pinbelegung E am PC oder einem anderen Quellgerät

funktioniert. Bei Anschluss des USB-Steckers Typ C mit

Pinbelegung C wird kein Videosignal übertragen.

Installation & Utilisation

La fonction DisplayPort Alternate Mode de la norme USB Type

C utilise le connecteur USB C comme une source vidéo sans

besoin de pilotes ou logiciels supplémentaires.

• Connectez la prise USB 3.1 Type C marquée au port E

USB Type C de la source.

• Connectez le câble DisplayPort mâle/mâle (non fourni)

entre la prise femelle DisplayPort du convertisseur et celle

de l’affichage.

• Démarrez la source puis l’affichage.

Si vous voulez connecter un écran avec une interface USB de

type C à un PC/périphérique source avec sortie DisplayPort,

assurez-vous d'utiliser la prise USB de type C avec

l'affectation correcte des broches de votre écran.

Note: Lorsque vous utilisez des sources USB de type C,

veillez à insérer le connecteur USB de type C avec l'affectation

des broches E. Si le connecteur C est branché, aucune vidéo

ne sera affichée.

Questo Converter USB 3.1 Tipo C a DisplayPort

bidirezionale consente di connettere uno schermo

DisplayPort ad una sorgente con porta USB Tipo C o in

alternativa uno schermo USB Tipo C ad una sorgente

DisplayPort. Il convertitore p2-ha l’interfaccia USB Tipo C con

assegnazione pin sia di tipo E che di tipo C per assicurare la

massima compatibilità con tutti i display USB Tipo C.

Installazione & Utilizzo

La funzione DisplayPort Alternate Mode propria del

connettore USB Tipo C consente di trasferire segnali video

ad alta risoluzione senza la necessità di alcun driver o

software addizionale.

• Collegare il connettore USB 3.1 Tipo C con assegnazione

pin E alla porta USB Tipo C della sorgente.

• Collegare un cavo DisplayPort Maschio Maschio (non

incluso) dalla porta DisplayPort Femmina del convertitore

alla porta DisplayPort dello schermo.

• Alimentare la sorgente e in fine lo schermo.

Se si desidera collegare uno schermo USB Tipo C ad una

sorgente con uscita DisplayPort, assicurarsi di utilizzare il

connettore USB Tipo C con la corretta assegnazione pin in

base a quella del display.

Nota Bene: Quando si collega una sorgente USB Tipo C,

assicurarsi di inserire il connettore con assegnazione pin E

USB Tipo C. Se si connette quello con assegnazione pin C

non verrà visualizzato alcun segnale video.
