openersmanufactured starting January1, 1993 and haveaLEARNbutton.

BEFOREYOU START

Read instructionsthoroughlyBEFORE beginning. Ifyou areusing thisproduct

with residential dooropeners,thisproductmust beused onlywith dooropeners

manufactured starting January1,1993 thatusephotoelectricsensorslocated near

the bottom ofthedoortrack.

IMPORTANT: The keypadwillactivate yourdooror gate duringprogramming. Be

sure the dooris clearofALLobstructions. Startwiththe garage door closed. Make

sure the garage door opener has a workinglightbecause itis a programming

indicator.

Installthe battery andprogramthe wireless keyless entry prior toinstallation.

Topreventpossible SERIOUS INJURYor DEATH froma movinggate or

•InstallWirelssKeylessEntrywithin sightofthegaragedoor,outof reach of

children ataminimum heightof5feet(1.5m),and awayfrom ALL moving

parts of door.

•ALWAYSkeepremotecontrolsoutofreach ofchildren.NEVERpermit

children tooperate,orplaywith remotecontrols.

•Activate gate or door ONLYwhenitcanbe seenclearly, is properly

adjusted,and thereareno obstructions todoortravel.

•ALWAYS keepgate or garage door insight untilcompletely closed. NEVER

permitanyoneto cross path of moving gateordoor.

INSTALLATION

1.Selectalocation to mountthe

wireless keyless entry at a

minimum height of5'(1.5m)

out of thereachof children.

2.Removethe batterycover

and batterytoshow mounting

holes.

3.Markthetop mountinghole

and drill 1/8"(3.2mm)pilot

hole.

4.Installthe topscrew, allowing1/8" (3.2mm)toprotrude above the surface.

Position the wireless keyless entry overthetopscrew.

5.Mark thebottomhole anddrill1/8"(3.2 mm)pilothole. Installthe bottom

screw.Donot overtighten to avoid cracking theplastic housing.

6.Reinstallthe battery andreplace the cover.

PROGRAM THE INITIAL PIN

Thewireless keyless entry is pre-programmedto work witha LiftMaster garage door

opener witha yellowLEARNbutton. Locate the LEARNbuttononthe garage door

opener. If the LEARN buttonisYELLOW, see MethodA. Otherwise, see MethodB for

othercolored LEARNbuttons.
