BEFORE
YOU
START
YOUR
NEW
REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER,
THERE
ARE
SOME
POINTS
THAT
WILL
HELP
YOU
GET
OFF
ON
THE
RIGHT
FOOT.
1.
Select
a
good
location.
Place
your
refrigerator
in
a
location
that
suits
your
working
convenience.
2.
Avoid
placing
the
unit
in
a
narrow
recess
or
near
any
heat
sources,
direct
sunlight
or
moisture.
3.
Your
refrigerator-freezer
must
have
adequate
air
circulation.
If
your
refrigerator-freezer
is
placed
in
a
recessed
area
in
the
wall,
allow
at
least
a
clearance
of
10
inches
or
more
above
the
refrigerator
and
a
1
inch
or
more
distance
from
the
wall
at
the
rear.
There
must
be
proper
air
circulation
around
your
refrigerator
to
keep
it
operating
eciently.
For
maximum
circulation,
the
refrigerator
should
be
elevated
1
inch
from
oor,
especially
when
it
is
carpeted.
4.
To
avoid
any
vibrations,
the
unit
is
to
be
set
levelled.
If
needed,
adjust
the
levelling
screws
to
compensate
for
unevenness
of
the
oor.
It
should
be
levelled
side
to
side.
The
front
should
be
slightly
higher
than
the
rear
to
aid
in
door
closing.
Levelling
screws
can
be
turned
easily
by
tipping
the
cabinet
slightly
and
adjustments
can
be
made
with
your
ngers
to
raise
or
lower
the
cabinet.
5.
Clean
your
refrigerator
thoroughly
and
wipe
o
all
dust
accumulated
during
transportation.
6.
Fit
up
the
accessories
such
as
ice
tray,
freezer
shelf,
etc.,
to
their
proper
places,
referring
to
the
"FEATURE
CHART"
section.
They
are
packed
together
to
prevent
possible
damages
during
transportation.
7.
Connect
the
power
supply
cord
(or
plug)
to
the
outlet.
Don't
double
up
with
other
appliances
on
the
same
outlet.
8.
Leave
your
refrigerator
for
an
hour
or so.
And
check
the
ow
of
cold
air
in
the
freezer
compartment.
Now,
your
refrigerator
is
ready
for
use.
