This assembly sheet does replace the complete manual not

on provided CD (i.e. LED illumination installation).

Note:two For safety reasons, it is highly recommend that

people assemble the column to the base plate. One person

should hold the base plate securely on a non-skid surface,

while the second person attaches the column to the base.

Insert horizontal arm into the cross joint

observing the flattening of the arm and

orientation of joint according to image.

Tighten allen screw connecting column

to base. washer must be Attention:

placed between base and column.

Take out parts from boxes. Place base

plate on non skidding surface.

Mount the safety clamp to the column.

One box contains horizontal arm, cross

joint, safety clamp & tools

Allen key, washer and allen screwOne box contains the base plate.

... and immediately secure the

instrument with previously removed

washer and screw.

If necessary connect base plate to

grounding cable with suitable plug.

Mount the Leica A60 to the horizontal

arm from below...

Place the cross joint on top of the

safety clamp on the column and lock

arm with referring knob.

Remove allen screw and washer from

the Leica A60 instrument as shown.
