GENERAL SAFETY RULES
WARNING
Read and understand all instructions before using this product . Failure to follow al l
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and / or s erious personal injury.
• Know your sweeper. Read operator’s manual carefully. Learn its applications and limitations,
as well as the specific potential hazards related to this sweeper. Following this rule will reduce
the risk of electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
• Do not leave sweeper unattended or running when turned on.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories
that may be suitable for one sweeper may create a risk of injury when used on another sweeper.
• Do not handle battery or sweeper with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust,
lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
• Turn off all controls before removing battery.
• Use Right Appliance - Do not use appliance for any job except that for which it is intended.
• Don’t Force Appliance - It will do the job better and with less likelihood of a risk of injury at the
rate for which it was designed.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not operate sweepers in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Sweepers create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas invite accidents.
• Keep children away - All visitors should be kept at a distance from work area.
• A battery operated sweeper with integral batteries or a separate battery pack must be recharged
only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger that may be suitable for one type of
battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery.
• For use only with Lawnmaster 24V Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries. Use of any other batteries
may create a risk of fire.
• Do not operate charger with a damaged cord or plug, which could cause shorting and electric
shock. If damaged, immediately discontinue use. Replace the charger with the identical unit as
listed in the Parts List of this manual.
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a sweeper.
Do not use sweeper while tired, upset, or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
A moment of inattention while operating sweepers may result in serious personal injury.
• Dress Properly - Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts.
Use of rubber gloves and substantial footwear is recommended when working outdoors. Wear
protective hair covering to contain long hair.
• Secure long hair above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
