REINICIO DEL RECORDATORIO PARA EL REEMPLAZO

DEL FILTRO

Después de reemplazar el ﬁltro usado, reinicie el recordatorio al utilizar el siguiente método:

1. Localice el botón pequeño de Reinicio en la parte superior del panel de control.

2. Presione el botón con la punta de un bolígrafo o un clip de papel. Notará que 1 LED comenzará a

parpadear. Pulse el botón Reset (Reinicio) hasta que el LED que parpadea esté debajo del ﬁltro que

acaba de reemplazar

3. Mantenga pulsado el botón de Reinicio durante 5 segundos para reiniciar el recordatorio. La uni-

dad emitirá un sonido cuando se haya completado el reinicio.

4. Repita los pasos 1 a 3 si se deben reemplazar los otros ﬁltros.

CONTROL REMOTO

El Control remoto funcionará igual que con el Puriﬁcador de Aire, ex-

cepto que tiene botones separados para el Generador de UV, el Ion-

izador, y las Funciones automáticas. El control remoto no reiniciará la

luz de recordatorio del ﬁltro. La batería para el control remoto, tipo

CR2032, p2-ya está instalada. Para comenzar a utilizarlo, tire de la Pestaña

de plástico en la parte trasera del control remoto.

PARA REEMPLAZAR LA BATERÍA:

a. Retire el Tornillo de seguridad de la puerta trasera.

b. Deslice la puerta trasera hacia arriba y retire del control remoto.

c. Reemplace la batería CR2032.

d. Vuelva a colocar la puerta trasera y deslice hacia abajo.

e. Alinee y ﬁje el Tornillo de seguridad a la puerta trasera.

Guía de resolución de problemas

Mi Puriﬁcador de Aire está constante-

mente cambiando las velocidades

El dispositivo está operando en modo automático. En este modo, el

Puriﬁcador siempre está haciendo el muestreo del aire y ajustando la

velocidad del motor según corresponda. Si encuentra que esta carac-

terística molesta, sólo tiene que seleccionar una velocidad ﬁja (H/M/L)

(Alta/Media/Baja), o pulse el botón Modo de reposo.

Para obtener un rendimiento óptimo, asegúrese de cerrar las puertas y

las ventanas de la habitación que está puriﬁcando. Los contaminantes

externos, tales como los olores y el polen, pueden provocar continua-

mente una lectura deﬁciente de la calidad del aire.

Cómo se instalan los ﬁltros

Revise la página 12 donde se indica una secuencia correcta del ﬁltro.

Es importante que instale los ﬁltros en el orden correcto, y que los re-

emplace de manera rutinaria como se recomienda.

conﬁguraciones

a. Los botones detectan el tacto humano. Si usted está presionando los

botones con un guante u objeto extraño, es posible que los controles

no respondan.

b. La función de Bloqueo para niños puede estar activada. Si la luz debajo

del botón de Bloqueo para niños está iluminada, pulse y mantenga

presionado el botón hasta que oiga un “pitido” y la luz se apague.

El Puriﬁcador de Aire está conecta-

do pero nada funciona

a. Si está utilizando un control remoto, pulse los botones de la parte

superior del Puriﬁcador de Aire. Si funcionan, entonces se debe re-

emplazar la batería del control remoto. Consulte las instrucciones

sobre el Reemplazo de la batería

b. Es posible que se haya removido la puerta del ﬁltro trasero. De ser así,

reemplace los ﬁltros y la puerta.

c. El enchufe fusionado es un dispositivo de seguridad y se puede

haber activado. De ser así, comuníquese con Servicio al Cliente. No

intente reemplazar ni desactivar esta función.

OPERACION

Uso del Puriﬁcador de Aire Pure Platinum

Este Puriﬁcador está diseñado para limpiar de manera eﬁcaz salas de tamaño pequeño a grande en

su hogar. Para obtener el máximo rendimiento, asegúrese de cerrar las puertas y las ventanas de la

habitación que está puriﬁcando. Para el uso diario, se recomienda hacer funcionar el Puriﬁcador en

modo Automático para puriﬁcar el aire según sea necesario. A medida que cambie la calidad del aire,

el Puriﬁcador seleccionará la potencia de limpieza adecuada. Puede tomar hasta 60 segundos para

que el sensor detecte la calidad del aire. Durante ese tiempo, la pantalla de Calidad del Aire destellará

(detección), luego cambiará a Verde (limpio), Amarillo (moderadamente sucio), o Rojo (sucio).

1. Enchufe la unidad en una fuente de alimentación operativa de 120V.

2. El funcionamiento intuitivo hace que este dispositivo sea muy fácil de usar. Toque ligeramente

cualquier función para seleccionarla.

Alimentación Presione el botón para encender (ON) y apagar (OFF) el Puriﬁcador de Aire. Tenga

en cuenta que el aire puriﬁcado saldrá del lado derecho inferior de la unidad.

Velocidad del ventilador: Pulse el botón para desplazarse por las velocidades de Automático,

Baja, Media y Alta en secuencia.

Automático: El Sensor de Calidad del Aire elegirá automáticamente la potencia de limpie-

za adecuada dependiendo de las condiciones. PUEDE TOMAR HASTA 60 SEGUNDOS PARA

QUE EL PURIFICADOR ENTRE EN EL MODO AUTOMÁTICO. Durante este tiempo, el indicador

LED frontal se iluminará para mostrar la calidad del aire actual.

Parpadeo = Evaluando el aire Rojo = Deﬁciente

Amarillo = Moderado Verde = Bueno

Temporizador de apagado automático: Esta función apagará automáticamente el Puriﬁcador

después de un cierto período. Para activarla, pulse el botón hasta que se iluminen los intervalos

de horas deseados. El Temporizador es acumulativo, de hasta 7 horas. Para interrumpir, pulse el

botón hasta que todos los LED debajo de las marcas de las horas estén apagados.

UV - Ion: Pulse el botón para activar el Protector UV-un contra gérmenes y el Generador de

iones negativos. Siempre asegúrese de que el Filtro TiO2 está instalado para lograr la máxima

eﬁcacia. Las funciones operan de manera independiente o en conjunto.

Modo de reposo: Este modo puede utilizarse cuando desea una operación discreta. Cuando

se presiona, el Puriﬁcador permanecerá en Velocidad Baja y los LED se atenuarán a un 50% de

brillo. Para detener la operación, pulse el botón de Modo de reposo (Sleep) de nuevo.

Bloqueo para niños: Esta función evitará las entradas del usuario no intencionales. Antes del blo-

queo, asegúrese de haber seleccionado todas las conﬁguraciones deseadas. Para bloquear, pulse

y mantenga presionado el botón durante 5 segundos hasta oír un pitido y el LED debajo del botón

se ilumine. Al presionar el botón de Encendido se apagará la unidad, incluso si el Modo de blo-

queo para niños está activo. Para desbloquear, mantenga pulsado el botón durante 5 segundos.

Recordatorios para el reemplazo del ﬁltro: Cada ﬁltro tiene su propia luz

recordatoria de reemplazo. Cuando el LED debajo del ﬁltro correspondiente

se ilumine, reemplácelo por un Filtro Lasko Pure Platinum genuino.

The Blue Plug™ on your Lasko puriﬁer is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be removed or tampered with. To

reduce the risk of ﬁre, electric shock and personal injury, DO NOT attempt to remove, replace, repair or tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Puriﬁer

has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incorporated in this plug. Call 800-233-0268, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Eastern for questions. If the plug warning label is missing or damaged, call the toll free number for a replacement label.

THIS PURIFIER HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to ﬁt into the outlet only one way. Match the wide blade

to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature. If the plug does not ﬁt in the outlet, consult a qualiﬁed

electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.

1. Make certain the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Product.

2. Make certain that the room is equipped with a working smoke detector.

3. Use this Product only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may result in injury to persons or damage to property.

4. To reduce the risk of personal injury and electric shock, the Product should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.

5. Unplug power cord before moving the Product.

13. Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into the enclosures.

15. This product contains UV LEDs. Always operate with TiO2 and HEPA-Type ﬁlters installed.

Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2008), or applicable state or local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for Agricultural Buildings. THIS

PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2008).

17. This Product is not suitable for use in hazardous locations. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 500 or applicable state or local codes or
