2. Operation

2.1 Charging

When the player is used for the rst time, please charge the battery for at least

two hours. The player can be charged with the supplied charger or while it is

connected to a PC. When it is connected to a PC it can also be used as a SD/

MMC card reader.

2.2 Music Playback

Insert a SD or MMC memory card with a maximum capacity of 2 GB in the

memory card slot. Turn the player on by switching the ON/OFF switch to on.

The player can be used stand alone or in a cassette player.

2.2.1 Use as Stand Alone Player

The control buttons can be used to adjust the volume, control the equalizer and

skip to the next or previous song.

To pause the player, press the Play/Pause button for two seconds until LED1

and LED2 light up. After 1 second LED2 turns off. To switch back to play modus,

briey press the Play/Pause button. LED1 is ashing fast now. To switch back to

pause press the Play/Pause button again briey; LED1 will ash slowly.

In pause mode it is also possible to stop music playback. Press the Play/Pause

button again for two seconds and the player will switch to the stop mode. LED1

lights up.

2.2.2 Use in a Cassette Player

Switch on the MP3 player and insert it into the cassette player. The magnetic

inductor transmits the audio signals to the cassette player. Use Rewind and Fast

Forward keys of the cassette player to skip to the previous or next song. In case

the volume is very low, please reverse the MP3 player.

To skip to the previous or next directory press Rewind of Fast Forward key of

the cassette player for four seconds while playing.
