DECORATIVE SKIRT ATTACHMENT

K-9624

These instructions are for installing the decorative skirt

attachment to the lavatory.

TOOLS REQUIRED

Phillips screwdriver

Fabric marking pencil

INSTALLATION:

Locate three toggle clamp holes in bottom side of lavatory

basin. With toggle clamp tabs facing toward the outside

of the lavatory, squeeze toggle clamp prongs together and

insert with a forceful twisting motion into toggle clamp

holes until the four small ribs contact the lavatory.

CAUTION:Risk of product damage. Do not force

the rib area of the toggle clamp into the hole. The

groove in the clamp should be offset from the

underside of the lavatory to allow for adequate

clearance between the lavatory and wire hoop for

the skirt material.

Insert screws into toggle clamps and begin to tighten

screws with Phillips screwdriver while holding the toggle

clamp to prevent it from rotating. Before tightening the

screw all of the way, place the ends of the wire hoop into

the lavatory side holes and align the toggle clamp grooves

with the wire hoop.

CAUTION:Risk of product damage. Do not bend

the tab of the toggle clamp. This may cause the wire

to have a loose t and pop out of the groove.

Remove the wire hoop and nish tightening the screws to

secure the toggle clamps. Check installation of the wire

hoop by again placing the ends into the side holes and

snapping the wire into the grooves of the toggle clamps.

FOR CUSTOMIZED DECORATIVE SKIRT: With a minimum of three yards of fabric, and some border trim, a seamstress

can create a customized skirt that coordinates with the room interior. For planning purposes, overall circumference of

the wire hoop is 47-3/4”.Test t the skirt by slipping it onto the shroud hoop. Insert the ends of the wire hoop into the side

holes located in the lavatory. Arrange skirt so that the gathering is evenly spaced and appearance is acceptable. Hold

wire hoop up to the toggle clamp locations and mark the locations of toggle clamps onto the fabric with a fabric marking

pencil. Remove skirt from wire hoop and cut slits into fabric. Finish off slits to avoid fraying of fabric. Reinsert the skirt

onto the wire hoop. Insert wire hoop into the side holes located in the lavatory. Insert wire hoop into toggle clamps by

snapping it into the toggle clamp grooves through the slits in the fabric.
