IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure
to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the Base
of the appliance, USB Adapter, USB Cable, or Battery, in water,
or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by children or by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary
when any appliance is used near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Do not use appliance on wet surfaces. Do not expose to rain,
store indoors.
5. Do not allow the Cordless Hand Vacuum to be used as a toy.
Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
6. Keep hair, loose clothing, and fingers away from openings and
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be
caught in internal moving parts.
7. Use this product only for its intended use and with the
attachments recommended in this manual.
8. Do not use a damaged cord or USB adapter. If the appliance is
not working as it should, has been dropped, dropped in water,
damaged, left outdoors, return it to a service center.
9. The use of attachments/accessories not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock or injury. This will
ensure that the safety of the appliance and accessories is
maintained.
10. Do not handle USB adapter or appliance with wet hands.
11. Do not put any object into openings.
12. Do not use the Cordless Hand Vacuum with any openings
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may
reduce air flow.
