Creating aNew orExtending

anExisting Network

Keenetic routers deliver reliable, continuous, and secure Wi-Fithroughout

your home. Starting with one main Keenetic router, asyour demands increase,

you can add more Keenetic devices toact asWi-Fiextenders tocreate

acentrally-managed multi-node Mesh Wi-Fi System.

Ifyou are creating anew network and this Keenetic Sprinter (hereinafter ‘Keenetic

device’) isgoing tobeyour Main Router, use the switch position A H.

Ifyou are extending anexisting network and this Keenetic device istoact

asaWi-Fiextender, turn the switch toposition I B.

A. Connecting Your Keenetic Sprinter

tothe Internet

1. Set the physical Operating Mode Switch located onthe

side panel toposition AH— Router Mode.

2. Position your Keenetic device within cable lengths ofEthernet and power

outlets. Place your Keenetic device inanunenclosed space for better wireless

coverage. Connect your Keenetic device toapower source. Check that both

the Status LED Cand Wi-FiLED Dare illuminated and not blinking.

3. Сonnect amobile device toyour Keenetic device via Wi-Fi. The default

Wi-Finame (SSID) and the Wi-Fipassword are printed onyour Keenetic

device’sback label along with aQRcode that will automatically

connect your mobile device tothe Keenetic device’sWi-Fiwhen

scanned. Alternatively, сonnect acomputer tothe gray Ethernet port

onyour Keenetic device using the included Ethernet cable.

4. Once connected, anInitial Setup Wizard window will appear onyour

mobile device / computer. Ifthe Wizard does not appear, using abrowser

gotomy.keenetic.net and follow the setup instructions.

Note: Ifthe Initial Setup Wizard still doesn’tappear, please refer tothe

Frequently Asked Questions section below.

B. Extending Your Existing

Network Coverage

1. Onthe Keenetic device you wish tobeaMesh Wi-FiExtender,

set the Operating Mode Switch located onthe side

panel toposition IB— Extender Mode.

2. Connect the ‘Extender’ Keenetic device toapower source. Check that both

the Status LED Cand Wi-FiLED Dare illuminated and not blinking.

3. Make sure your Keenetic Main Router isactive and has anInternet

connection. Connect the ‘Extender’ Keenetic device toyour Keenetic

Main Router using anEthernet cable (assupplied). Alternatively you can

connect Keenetic devices wirelessly byplacing them near toeach other

and simultaneously pressing the Wi-FiControl ButtonsDonboth

devices. Check that the Internet LED Aonthe ‘Extender’ isilluminated.

4. Сonnect amobile device / computer toyour Keenetic Main Router network.

5. Launch aweb browser and gotomy.keenetic.net and log intothe

Main Router orlaunch the Keenetic mobile application. Then choose

the Wi-FiSystem section and click Acquire toadd anextender

candidate toyour Wi-FiSystem. Wait for the process tocomplete.

6. Disconnect the acquired Extender from the Main Router and

place the Extender where you want toexpand your Wi-Finetwork

inyour home. AKeenetic Mesh Wi-FiSystem supports both wireless

and wired connections between the Main Router and Extenders.

Tomaximize your network performance, use wired connections

where possible. The Internet LEDAonthe Extender will illuminate

when ithas connected successfully toyour network.
