Functions and features
Installation of probe sensors with a diameter of 10 mm in R½ (E40160) or ½“ NPT
(E40174) process connections.
Installation
►Screw the adapter into the process con-
nection and tighten it.
►Insert the sensor into the adapter.
►Set the installation length.
►Tighten the coupling nut manually.
►Mark its position with lines (A).

►Tighten the coupling nut with a tool by
1¼ turn (tightening torque 45 Nm).
Removal:
►Loosen the nut, pull out the sensor.
Repeated installation
►Insert the sensor again.
►Tighten the nut with a tool without applying too much force until the initial posi-
tion is reached. For reliable sealing, tighten a bit more.
