►Grease thread and sealing (B) of the
coupling nut (C) with paste (A).
The paste must be suitable and ap-
proved for the application and compat-
ible with the elastomers used.

►Slip the coupling nut onto the sensor (D)
from the bottom.

►Grease the sensor thread with the paste
(A) (see above ).
►Place the sealing ring (E) in the groove
(F) of the sensor.
The adapter is supplied with an EPDM
O-ring. More sealing rings are available as
accessories:
• FKM O-ring, order no. E30123.
• PEEK sealing ring, order no. E30124.
Use a new adapter when changing from a
PEEK seal to O-ring sealing.

►Screw the sensor into the adapter (G)
until it is hand-tight. When doing so,
avoid mechanical effects on the sealing
areas, the hygienic area and the pres-
sure measuring cell..
►Make sure that the O-ring (H) is correctly
positioned.

►Clamp the sensor + adapter into a
lamping device (I). Tighten the clamping
device only slightly so that the adapter
does not warp.
►Tighten the sensor using a spanner until
you can feel the end stop (this corre-
sponds to a maximum tightening torque
of 35 Nm). Note: Further tightening may
affect the sealing effect.
►Insert the unit in a universal process connection RD52.
►Tighten the coupling nut.
