Installation
1. Weld in the adapter.
The adapter should only be welded by qualified personnel.
►Use a welding method which is suitable for the material (stainless
steel, material no. 316S12).
►Make sure that the adapter does not warp.
►Let the adapter cool down.
2. Grease the following parts: nut (1), clamping ring (2), thread and inner hole of
the adapter (3).
3. Position the clamping ring.
Chamfered end (4) into the adapter.
4. Screw in the nut.
5. Position the sensor (5).
6. Tighten the nut manually and mark its position with a line (6).
7. Adjust the sensor to the required installation depth. Hold it and tighten the nut
by 1 full turn with a tool.
Repeated mounting
You can remove the sensor e.g. to clean the tip. Then insert the sensor again and
firmly tighten the nut.
