Bestimmunsgemäße Verwendung
Das Modul bietet die Möglichkeit Slaves in der klassischen Bauform
(EMS) im verdrahteten AS-i Netz zu adressieren.
Wird während des Betriebes der Anlage adressiert, meldet der ifm-
Controller „Alarm Config“, da der Slave vom Netz getrennt ist.
Nach Beendigung des Adressiervorgangs und entfernen des Adressier-
steckers vom Modul läuft der Controller selbstständig wieder an.
Das Verhalten anderer Master erfragen Sie bitte bei den jeweiligen
Herstellern.
Montage
Schalten Sie während der Montage die Anlage spannungsfrei.
1. Klemmen Sie das Modul auf eine 35mm-Profilschiene oder befesti-
gen Sie es auf einer planen Montagefläche.
2. Legen Sie das AS-i Standardkabel (gelb) ein. Passen Sie es richtig in
die Profilnut ein. Beide Kabelschächte sind elektrisch parallel
geschaltet.
3. Verschließen Sie die nicht benutzte Kabeldurchführung und die
Adressierbuchse mit den beiliegenden Füllstücken, um die Schutzart
IP 67 zu gewährleisten.
4. Setzen Sie ein entsprechendes Oberteil auf und ziehen Sie die
Schrauben fest.
Adressierung
Verbinden Sie das montierte Modul mit dem Adressiergerät. Das
Adressierkabel ist gesondert zu bestellen (Bestell-Nr. E70213). Verge-
ben Sie eine Adresse zwischen 1 und 31; die Auslieferungsadresse ist 0.

Function and features
This module enables addressing of slaves in the classic design (EMS) in
the wired AS-i network. If addressing takes place during installation,
the ifm controller will signal "Alarm Config" because the slave is auto-
matically removed from the network when the addressing plug is con-
nected. After the addressing operation and removal of the addressing
plug from the module the controller restarts automatically. For operat-
ing characteristics of other masters please contact the corresponding
manufacturers.
Mounting
Disconnect the installation from power during mounting.
1. Fix the module onto a 35 mm DIN rail or mount it onto a plane sur-
face.
2. Insert the AS-i standard cable (yellow). Ensure correct positioning of
the cable in the profiled slot. The two cable ducts are connected in
parallel.
3. Close the unused cable duct and the addressing socket with the
trapezoidal seals supplied to ensure the protection rating IP 67.
4. Put the upper part onto the lower part and tighten the screws.
Addressing
Connect the mounted module to the addressing unit. The addressing
cable is to be ordered separately (order no. E70213). Select an address
between 1 and 31; factory setting is 0.

Montage
Mettre l'installation hors tension avant le montage.
1. Fixer le module sur un profil 35 mm ou le monter sur une surfaceé
plane.
2. Insérer le câble plat AS-i (jaune). Assurer le bon positionnement du
câble dans le guide profilé. Les deux guides sont connectés paral-
lèlement.
3. Fermer la travers e de c ble non utilis e et la prise femelle é â é
d'adressage à é é é ï l'aide des joints d’étanch it trap zo daux fournis afin
de garantir la protection IP 67.
4. Mettre la partie sup rieure sur la partie inf rieure et visser.é é
Adressage
Pour raccorder le module mont l'unit d'adressage, le cordoné à é
d’adressage est à commander séparément (n°de commande E70213).
Affecter une adresse entre 1 et 31. A la livraison, l'adresse est 0.
