SPIELVARIANTEN: Shuffleboard, Curling, Score Hunting

VARIANTE „SHUFFLEBOARD“

Idee und Ziel des Spiels

Beim Shuffleboard versuchen Einzelspieler oder Teams ihre 4 Spielsteine bestmöglich im

Punktebereich des Spielbretts zu platzieren. Das Team, das zuerst 15 Punkte erreicht (90

Punkte bei der schwierigen Spielvariante), gewinnt.

Spielvorbereitung

Verwenden Sie für Shuffleboard bitte die holzfarbene Seite des Spielbretts. Platzieren Sie

das Spielbrett mit Rahmen auf einer ebenen Oberfläche, z. B. einem Tisch. Stellen Sie

sicher, dass es nicht kippen kann und von beiden Seiten frei bespielbar ist. Zu Beginn des

Spiels werden zwei Teams gebildet, die aus 1 bis 4 Spielern bestehen. Jedes Team erhält

4 Spielsteine einer Farbe.

Spielablauf

Es wird ausgelost, wer beginnt. Im ersten Durchgang spielen die Spieler ihre Steine

abwechselnd aus dem 3-Punkte-Feld. Steine, die die Markierung bei 2/3 des Feldes nicht

erreichen, werden aus dem Spiel genommen. Wenn alle 8 Steine gespielt wurden, erfolgt

die erste Wertung. Das Team, das den vorherigen Durchgang gewonnen hat, startet den

nächsten Durchgang vom anderen Ende des Spielbretts. Als Spielvariante können die

Steine von dort gespielt werden, wo sie zum Liegen gekommen sind. Steine, die in die

Auffangrinne gefallen sind, müssen dann von dem 3-Punkte-Feld gespielt werden. Die

Reihenfolge der Steine ist von jedem Team frei wählbar.

Punkteberechnung

Es gibt eine leichte und eine schwierige Spielvariante:

Leicht: Es zählen die schwarzen Punktfelder an jedem Ende des Spielfelds. Die Teams

erhalten 1, 2 oder 3 Punkte pro Stein, entsprechend der Lage der Steine. Steine, die über

das Ende des Spielfeldes ragen, aber nicht in die Rinne gefallen sind, zählen 4 Punkte.

Schwierig: Es zählen die weißen Punktfelder an jedem Ende des Spielfelds. Die Teams

erhalten 10, 8 oder 7 Punkte pro Stein, entsprechend der Lage der Steine. Für Steine im

10-Off-Feld werden 10 Punkte abgezogen.

Steine, die auf einer Linie zum Liegen gekommen sind, erhalten die niedrigere Punktzahl.

VARIANTE “CURLING”

Idee und Ziel des Spiels

Beim Curling versuchen Einzelspieler oder Teams ihre Spielsteine so nah wie möglich ins

Zentrum des Zielbereichs („Haus“) zu bringen. Pro Durchgang kann immer nur eine Partei

punkten. Wer nach 8 Durchgängen die meisten Punkte erzielt hat, gewinnt.

Spielvorbereitung

Verwenden Sie für Curling bitte die weiße Seite des Spielbretts. Platzieren Sie das

Spielbrett mit Rahmen auf einer ebenen Oberfläche, z. B. einem Tisch. Stellen Sie sicher,

dass es nicht kippen kann. Zu Beginn des Spiels werden zwei Teams gebildet, die aus 1

bis 4 Spielern bestehen. Jedes Team erhält 4 Spielsteine einer Farbe.

Spielablauf

Es wird ausgelost, wer beginnt. Danach spielen die Teams abwechselnd einen Stein,

indem sie ihn über das Spielbrett gleiten lassen. Der Stein muss losgelassen werden,

bevor er die erste „Foul“-Linie überquert und ist nur gültig, wenn er auch die zweite

„Foul“-Linie vollständig passiert hat. Ungültige Steine werden sofort vom Spielbrett

entfernt. Eigene oder gegnerische Steine zu treffen, um sie besser zu platzieren bzw. vom

Spielfeld zu stoßen, ist ausdrücklich erlaubt. Pro Durchgang werden immer alle 8 Steine

gespielt, dann erfolgt die Wertung. Der Sieger eines Durchgangs beginnt den folgenden

Durchgang. Sollten keine Punkte erzielt worden sein, startet der Beginner des letzten

Durchgangs erneut.

Punkteberechnung

Es werden nur Steine gewertet, die innerhalb des blauen Kreises (“Haus”) liegen bzw.

diesen berühren. Punkte erhält nur die Partei deren bester Einzelwurf dem Zentrum des

Hauses am nächsten liegt. Es gibt einen Punkt für jeden Stein, der besser platziert ist, als

der beste Stein des Gegners. Steine, die den besten Einzelwurf des Gegners nicht

übertreffen, verfallen.

VARIANTE „SCORE HUNTING“

Idee und Ziel des Spiels

Beim Score Hunting versuchen Einzelspieler oder Teams ihre 4 Spielsteine so nah wie

möglich ans Ende des Spielbretts zu bringen, um eine möglichst hohe Punktzahl zu

erzielen. Es gewinnt, wer zuerst 50, 75 oder 100 Punkte erzielt hat.

Verwenden Sie für Score Hunting bitte die weiße Seite des Spielbretts. Platzieren Sie das

Spielbrett mit Rahmen auf einer ebenen Oberfläche, z.B. einem Tisch. Stellen Sie sicher,

bis 4 Spielern bestehen. Jedes Team erhält 4 Spielsteine einer Farbe.

wenn er auch die zweite „Foul“-Linie vollständig passiert hat. Ungültige Steine werden

sofort vom Spielbrett entfernt. Eigene oder gegnerische Steine zu treffen, um sie besser

zu platzieren bzw. vom Spielfeld zu stoßen, ist ausdrücklich erlaubt.

Pro Durchgang werden immer alle 8 Steine gespielt, dann erfolgt die Wertung.

Punkteberechnung

Entsprechend der Lage der Steine im Zielbereich gibt es 5, 10 oder 20 Punkte pro Stein.

Steine, die auf einer Linie zum Liegen gekommen sind, erhalten die höhere Punktzahl,

wenn sie die Linie mindestens zur Hälfte überquert haben. Andernfalls gilt die niedrigere

Punktzahl.

NUTZUNGSHINWEISE

• Vorsicht beim Öffnen der Produktverpackung, der Inhalt könnte beschädigt werden.

• Nutzen Sie das Produkt nur auf einem festen und ebenen Untergrund. Bitte beachten

Sie, dass es bei empfindlichen Oberflächen unter Umständen zu Veränderungen des

HOW TO PLAY

GAME VARIATIONS: Shuffleboard, curling, score hunting

„SHUFFLEBOARD“ VARIANT

Idea and aim of the game

In Shuffleboard, single players or teams try their best to place their 4 pieces in the points

area of the board. The team that first reaches 15 points (90 points in the difficult game

variant) wins.

Game preparation

For Shuffleboard, please use the wood-coloured side of the board. Place the game board

with the frame on a flat surface, e.g. a table. Make sure that it cannot tip over and is freely

playable from both sides. At the beginning of the game two teams, consisting of 1 to 4

players, are formed. Each team receives 4 counters of one colour.

Game play

A draw is held for the starter. In the first round the players play their stones alternately

from the 3-point field. Stones that do not reach the marker at 2/3 of the field are taken out

of play. When all 8 stones have been played, the first rating will be made. The team that

won the previous round will start the next round from the other end of the board. As a

game variant, the stones can be played from where they came to rest. Stones that have

fallen into the gutter must then be played from the 3-point square. The order of the stones

is freely selectable by each team.

Point calculation

There is one easy and one difficult game variant:

Easy: The black points at each end of the field count. The teams receive 1, 2 or 3 points

per stone, depending on the location of the stones. Stones that protrude beyond the end

of the field but have not fallen into the gutter count 4 points.

Difficult: The white dot fields at each end of the field count. The teams receive 10, 8 or 7

points per stone, depending on the location of the stones. 10 points are deducted for

stones in the 10-off field.

Stones that have come to rest on a line receive the lower score.

„CURLING“ VARIANT

Idea and aim of the game

In curling, single players or teams try to get their pieces as close to the centre of the target

area („house“) as possible. Only one party can always score per round. Whoever scores

the most points after 8 rounds is the winner.

Game preparation

For curling, please use the white side of the board. Place the game board with the frame

on a flat surface, e.g. a table. Make sure it cannot tip over. At the beginning of the game

two teams, consisting of 1 to 4 players, are formed. Each team receives 4 counters of one

colour.

Game play

A draw is held for the starter. Then the teams take turns playing a stone by letting it slide

across the board. The stone must be released before it crosses the first „foul“ line and is

only valid if it has completely passed the second „foul“ line. Invalid stones are immediately

removed from the game board. You are allowed to hit your own or opposing stones in

order to place them better or to push them off the field. For each round, all 8 stones are

played, then the scoring is done. The winner of a round starts the next round. If no points

have been scored, the beginner of the last round starts again.

Point calculation

Only stones that lie within or touch the blue circle („house“) are scored. Only the part y

whose best single throw is closest to the centre of the house receives points. There is one

point for each stone that is better placed than the opponent‘s best stone. Stones that do

not exceed the best single throw of the opponent are forfeited.

„SCORE HUNTING“ VARIANT

Idea and aim of the game

In Score Hunting, single players or teams try to get their 4 pieces as close to the end of

the board as possible to get as high a score as possible. The winner is the first player to

score 50, 75 or 100 points.

Game preparation

For Score Hunting, please use the white side of the board. Place the game board with the

frame on a flat surface, e.g. a table. Make sure it cannot tip over. At the beginning of the

game two teams, consisting of 1 to 4 players, are formed. Each team receives 4 counters

of one colour.

Game play

A draw is held for the starter. Afterwards, players take turns playing a stone from the

centre of the curling house by sliding it over the board. The stone must be released before

it crosses the first „foul“ line and is only valid if it has completely passed the second „foul“

line. Invalid stones are immediately removed from the game board. You are allowed to hit

your own or opposing stones in order to place them better or to push them off the field.

For each round, all 8 stones are played, then the scoring is done.

Point calculation

Depending on the location of the stones in the target area, there are 5, 10 or 20 points per

stone. Stones that have come to rest on a line receive the higher score if they have

crossed the line at least halfway. Otherwise, the lower score applies.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• Open the product packaging carefully; the contents can get damaged.
