Declaration of Conformity

According to the Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006(REACH)

As a responsible supplier of articles, Huawei has done its best to meet all requirements of

environmental protection. This declaration of conformity is the compliance information of

REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006). Details are as follows:

(Pre-)Registration

According to Article 6, any manufacturer or importer of a substance, either on its own or in

one or more preparation(s), in quantities of one ton or more per year shall submit a

registration to the Agency. This requirement does not apply to Huawei as supplier of

articles.

According to Article 7, any producer or importer of articles shall submit a registration to

the Agency for any substance contained in those articles, if the substance is intended to

be released under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use and the substance

is present in those articles in quantities totaling over one ton per producer or importer per

year. As far as we know, there is not any substance intended to be released in this

product.

Notification

According to Article 33, any supplier of an article containing a substance meeting the

criteria in Article 57 and identified in accordance with Article 59(1) (Substances of Very

High Concern (SVHC)) in a concentration above 0.1 % weight by weight (w/w) shall

provide the recipient of the article with sufficient information, available to the supplier, to

allow safe use of the article including, as a minimum, the name of that substance. As far

as we know, the substance(s) listed below may be contained in this product above

the threshold level of 0.1% (w/w).

According to cles shall notify the Agency, in Article 7, any producer or importer of arti

accordance with paragraph 4 of this Article, if a substance meets the criteria in Article 57

and is identified in accordance with Article 59(1), if both the following conditions are met:(a)

the substance is present in those articles in quantities totaling over one ton per producer or

importer per year; (b) the substance is present in those articles above a concentration of

0,1 % weight by weight (w/w). This obligation shall be fulfill before June 2011. Huawei

will work with its supplier to ensure that all applicable SVHC are notified.

Restriction

According to Article 67, a substance on its own, in a preparation or in an article, for which

Annex XVII contains a restriction shall not be manufactured, placed on the market or used

unless it complies with the conditions of that restriction. Those restricted substances

applicable to article have been restricted by Huawei. This product does not contain

any restricted substances applicable to article above the threshold level.
