INTRODUCTION

This high power DC adaptor is designed to power the popular brand

portable DVD players, Portable Game Devices, Digital Cameras,

musical devices which require DC input from 1V while you are

traveling in the car. The adaptor features overload and short circuit

protection to protect it from damage.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Determine proper output voltage setting. Check rating plate and

the voltage indication marked next to input jack on your electronic

device. You may nd the voltage in your ac adaptor or in the product

user’s manual.

. Set the voltage switch on the body of the adaptor in the proper

voltage (1.5/3.0/4.5/5.0/6.0/9.0/1.0V DC).

3. Tip polarity selection: Determine proper connector size. The polarity

of the small connectors is presented with positive tip polarity.

Common symbols is shown bellows:

4. Insert connector output plug into your electronic device.

5. Insert adaptor into vehicle lighter socket. Green LED will light

to indicate proper operation. If LED fails to light. See “FUSE

REPLACEMENT” paragraph.

6. Turn on your electronic device. If it does not operate, immediately

disconnect and review the above steps.

FUSE REPLACEMENT

To check or replace fuse, simply rotate the plastic tip at the end of the

cigarette plug counterclockwise.

Visually inspect fuse element. If blown or if you are unsure, replace

fuse (5 AMP).

CAUTION:

• For DC 1V Car used only

• Ensure correct voltage is used as continuous excess voltage could

damage your electronic device.

• Do not use this adaptor with appliance that requests more than

36W.

• Do not attempt to open this unit.

• Remove from vehicle lighter socket when not in use.

• Always turn off the electronic device before you connect/disconnect

the car adaptor.

• First start the car engine, then plug in the car adaptor.
