This solar product is designed for use in an outdoor

pond. The solar panel needs to be in direct sunlight for

maximum efficiency.

Important

The appliance is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of

the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play

with the appliance.

Do not connect the pump to any AC voltage, it is intended

ONLY for DC Voltage.

Operate in freshwater only (never above 35ºC), and keep

away from flammable liquids.

Avoid any impacts to the solar panel itself.

Installation

A Connect the two air tubes to the air pump mounted on

the back of the solar panel. (Fig.1)

B Connect the two air stones to the air tubes. (Fig.2)

C Assemble the mounting stake (Figs.3 & 4) and position

the solar panel so that it is always higher than the

airstones in the water.

D Place the two air stones into the pond. The airstones and

tube will tend to float unless weighted down. The air stone

should not be placed at a depth more than 1m.

Maintenance

Solar panel:

The panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft damp

cloth. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain

optimum conversion of the sun’s energy.

Air stones:

The stones should be replaced every year.

If this pump, excluding the Diaphragm, Flapper Valves, Inlet

and Outlet foams and o-rings, becomes unserviceable within

1 year of the date of purchase it will be repaired or replaced

at our option free of charge, unless in our opinion it has been

damaged or misused.

Liability is not accepted for damage due to accident, improper

installation or use. Liability is limited to replacement of a

faulty pump.

This guarantee is not transferable. It does not affect your

statutory rights. To obtain the benefits of the guarantee,

firstly contact Hozelock Cyprio Consumer Services who may

request that the pump is sent along with proof of purchase

directly to the address below.

Damage caused by running the air stone at a depth greater

than 1m invalidates the Guarantee.

Dieses Solarprodukt ist zur Belüftung eines im Freien

angelegten Teichs vorgesehen. Für maximale Effizienz

ist das Solarmodul so zu platzieren, dass es direkt das

Sonnenlicht aufnimmt.

Wichtig!

Die Verwendung dieses Geräts darf nicht durch Personen

Der Benutzer muss vorher von einer Person, die für seine

Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um zu verhindern, dass

Die Pumpe darf nicht mit Wechselspannung, sondern

AUSSCHLIESSLICH mit Gleichspannung versorgt werden.

Verwenden Sie die Pumpe nur, wenn Ihr Teich

Frischwasser enthält (niemals über 35°C), und halten Sie

das Gerät von brennbaren Flüssigkeiten fern.

Achten Sie darauf, dass nichts und niemand gegen das

Solarmodul stößt.

Installation

A Verbinden Sie die zwei Luftschläuche mit der an der

Rückseite des Solarmoduls befestigten Belüftungspumpe.

(Abb. 1)

B Verbinden Sie die zwei Ausströmersteine mit den

Luftschläuchen. (Abb. 2)

C Montieren Sie den Befestigungspflock (Abb. 3 & 4) und

platzieren Sie das Solarmodul so, dass es sich stets über

den Ausströmersteinen im Wasser befindet.

D Setzen Sie die beiden Ausströmersteine in den Teich.

Wenn Sie die Ausströmersteine und die Schläuche nicht

beschweren, neigen sie dazu, im Wasser zu treiben. Die

Ausströmersteine dürfen nicht tiefer als 1 m eingesetzt

werden.

Wartung

Solarmodul:

Das Solarmodul sollte regelmäßig mit einem weichen und

feuchten Tuch sauber gewischt werden. Es ist ratsam, das

Solarmodul regelmäßig zu reinigen, um so eine optimale

Umwandlung der Sonnenenergie aufrechtzuerhalten.

Ausströmersteine:

Die Steine sollten einmal jährlich ausgetauscht werden.
