Cleansing the face (normal & sensitive brush heads)
1. Remove make-up and in particular any eye make-up before using
the device (It is not designed for use in the delicate eye area).
2. Attach the appropriate brush head to the device.
3. Wet your skin with warm water.
4. Wet the brush head with warm water and apply a facial cleanser of
your choice to the brush head.
Charging the brush
1. Connect the charging base to a USB power supply using the USB
power lead provided.
2. Ensure that the brush is switched o.
3. Place the brush into the charging base. The LED’s on the top of the
product will illuminate to indicate remaining charge and will ash
to show that the product is charging.
4. Once the product is fully charged the LED’s will switch o.
5. Charge overnight (8 hours) for up to 80 mins of use time.
Fitting the brush/gel heads
1. Ensure the cleansing brush is switched o.
2. Push the brush or gel head attachment onto the head of the unit
and twist clockwise until it locks into place with a click.
Removing the brush/gel heads
1. Ensure the cleansing brush is
switched o.

1. Ensure your face is clean and dry.
2. Follow the directions in the app to take four readings with the
analyser around your face. The app will then display your hydration
reading and will also create a suitable skincare routine for you.
3. Place the metal contacts against your skin to take a reading.
4. Once the app has conrmed the reading, move on to the next zone
indicated by the app and repeat.
5. The skin analyser will automatically turn o after 2 minutes to save
battery power. If you need to re-activate it, press the power button
again.
Tip: For a successful reading, use light pressure to ensure that both
metal contacts are in good contact with the skin.
Changing the battery
1. Twist the battery door clockwise using a coin.
2. Remove the battery from the device.
3. Fit a new battery into the device, ensuring the positive (+) side is
uppermost.
4. Twist the battery cover back onto the product as indicated by the
arrows.

MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning and care is essential to keep your Purete
brush in peak working condition
To clean
Clean the unit and heads after each use. Clean the outside of the
product using a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. To Clean the gel or
brush heads, remove them form the unit and wash in warm soapy
water. Allow to dry naturally.
Note: Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not use petroleum based or
ammable cleaning agents because of re risk.
Dependent on use, we recommend that you replace your brush head
every 3-4 months for good hygiene and to ensure brush performance is
maintained. For replacement parts, contact your local HoMedics Service
Centre. For details of your nearest HoMedics Service Centre, please go
to www.homedics.co.uk
To store
Place the appliance on the charging base in a safe, dry, cool place. To
avoid breakage, do not wrap the charging cable around the appliance.
5. Turn the device on, work in circular motions to cleanse the skin.
Keep the brush head in contact with to avoid any excess spray from
the device.
Tip: Ensure the skin is kept damp with cleanser/water and the unit
is constantly moving in circular motions to avoid dragging the skin.
6. Cleanse the face for approximately 10 seconds per cheek, 20 seconds
on the forehead and 20 seconds on the nose and chin area. For more

guide below.
7. Rinse your face with warm water and gently pat dry with a towel.
Tip: For a personalised cleansing routine, bespoke to your skin,
please download the HoMedics Beauty app and use in conjunction
with the Skin Analyser. See more details below.
New Users: We recommend to use the sensitive brush initially to
give your skin time to adjust to your new cleansing routine.
Note: Keep away from the eyes.
Moisturising and massage (gel massage head)
1. Cleanse your face as above.
2. Attach the gel massage head to the device.
3. Place a small amount of moisturiser onto your face or onto the gel
head, place the gel head against your skin then switch the device
on and work in circular upward & outward motions to massage the
moisturiser into your skin.
Note: Keep away from the eyes.

Downloading the app
1. Open the App Store or Google Play depending
on which device you wish to install the app on.
2. Search for the HoMedics Beauty app and press
the download button it to your device, it will
install automatically.
3. Open the app on your device and follow the
simple on screen instructions to get started.
SKIN ANALYSER
Connecting the Skin Analyser
1. Before rst use, twist the battery
door clockwise to open (using a coin)
and remove the plastic ‘isolator’ tab.
Replace the battery door and twist
rmly shut.
2. Press the power button to turn the
skin analyser on, the light will begin to
ash.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is active on the device you wish to use.
4. Open the app to ensure that the skin analyser has connected
correctly.
5. The light on the skin analyser will change from ashing to solid once
you have successfully connected.
