the blower/vacuum cleaner and in this Instruction Manual.
NEVER use this blower/vacuum cleaner in a manner that has not been speciïŹ cally recommended by
metabo HPT.

injury.

liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where
they may be present.
8. Do not pick up anything that is burning or
smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot
ashes.
9. Never use when the temperature is below 23°F
(-5°C) or above 104°F (40°C).
10. Do not put any object into openings.
Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free
of dust, line, hair, and anything that may reduce
air ïŹ‚ ow.
11. Keep hair, loose clothing, ïŹ ngers, and all parts
of body away from openings and moving.

12. Do not charge the unit outdoors.
13. Use only the charger supplied by the
manufacturer to recharge.
14. Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is
severely damaged. The batteries can explode
in a ïŹ re.

1) Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate blower/vacuum cleaner
in explosive atmospheres, such as
in the presence of ïŹ‚ ammable liquids,
gases or dust.
Motor of blower/vacuum cleaner may
create sparks which may ignite the dust of
fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away
while operating a blower/vacuum
cleaner.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety
a) Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock
if your body is earthed or grounded.
b) Do not expose blower/vacuum cleaner
to wet conditions.
Water entering a blower/vacuum cleaner
will increase the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are
doing and use common sense when
operating a blower/vacuum cleaner.
Do not use a blower/vacuum cleaner

caught in moving parts.
4) Blower/vacuum cleaner use and care
a) Disconnect the battery pack from
the blower/vacuum cleaner before
making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing blower/vacuum
cleaner.
Such preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of starting the blower/vacuum
cleaner accidentally.
b) Store idle blower/vacuum cleaner
out of the reach of children and
do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the blower/vacuum cleaner or
these instructions to operate the
blower/vacuum cleaner.
Blower/vacuum cleaner are dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
c) Maintain blower/vacuum cleaner.
Check for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may aïŹ€ ect the
blower/vacuum cleaner operation.
If damaged, have the blower/vacuum
cleaner repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained blower/vacuum cleaner.
d) Use the blower/vacuum cleaner,
accessories, in accordance with
these instructions and in the manner
intended for the particular type of
blower/vacuum cleaner, taking into
account the working conditions and
the work to be performed.
