Description

The PA70081 HDMI® Cable Tester is designed to check

and troubleshoot the pin connections of HDMI® (high

definition multimedia interface) cables. It is ideal for

testing the continuity of each pin of an HDMI® cable

prior to installation on equipment.

Operation

1. Install a 9 V battery into the master unit.

2. Connect one end of the HDMI® cable to the master

unit, and the other end to the remote unit.

Test Results

•If all nine LEDs light up, the cable is defined as pass.

Note: This tester is only suited for continuity tests. It

does not indicate intercross issues or response time

issues on cables or connections.

•If any LED does not light up, the cable is defined as

failed.
