Children: Keep this device out of the reach of children or other unqualiï¬ed persons,
since the misuse of contents and packaging materials may result in hazard or
death.
1. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in
water or any other liquid.
2. Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
3. Connect the appliance to a grounded outlet.
4. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or touch hot surfaces.
5. Make sure the inner bowl is completely dry before you ï¬ll the fryer with oil or
fat.
6. Ensure that the oil is ï¬lled between the minimum and maximum oil level
marks inside the oil bowl. Do not switch the appliance on before you have
ï¬lled with oil or fat.
7. Hot steam is released through the ï¬lter during frying. Keep your hands and
face at a safe distance from the steam.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not fry food with heavy moisture content as this might cause heavy
splattering of oil or fat.
10. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appli-
ance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner.
11. Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
They would constitute a danger to the user and can damage the appliance.
12. Ensure there is proper ventilation when using the appliance.
13. Unplug from outlet when not in use. Allow to cool before moving, cleaning or
storing the appliance.
14. Remove the plug from wall outlet. Do not pull the supply cord.

15. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or
similarly qualiï¬ed person in order to avoid any hazard.
16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.
18. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote-control system.
CONNECTING TO POWER
â¢Before connecting, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (bottom
of the appliance) corresponds with the main voltage in your home. If it does not
match, do not use the appliance and contact you dealer.
â¢This appliance may be ï¬tted with a non-rewirable plug. If you need to change
the fuse in a non-rewirable plug, the fuse cover must be reï¬tted. If the fuse
cover is lost or damaged, the plug must not be used until a replacement is
obtained (available from the appliance manufacturer).
â¢This unit must be grounded. The equipment must be disconnected from the
outlet when not in use. Do not allow this unit to be exposed to water or
moisture.
â¢For your own safety, read the instructions carefully before attempting to
connect this unit to the outlet.
â¢You should only plug the appliance into a V, 50/60Hz supply.110/120
Connecting it to other power sources may damage the appliance.
