•USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED BULBS. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE!

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION
Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above.
Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and completely remove the old
xturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.
1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholesandmay
havetwoofmountingscrews(D)attached.Ifso,youmayneedtotighten
hexnuts(C)thatholdthescrewsinplace.Ifmountingstrap(B)doesnot
havemountingscrews(A)attached,pleasendthescrewsandhexnuts
youremovedfromcanopy(S)andattachtothemountingstrapusinghex
nuts (C).
2.Placemountingstrap(B)uptoyourjunctionbox.Placecanopy(S)over
themountingstrapliningupmountingscrews(D)withtheholesincanopy
(S).Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(A)
andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
3.Oneofconnectorrods(N)hasthexture’swiresinside.Hookconnector
rods(N)totheframeatloops(Q)andthenpullthexturewiresuntiltaut.
Attach the top of connector rods (N) to canopy (S) at loops (R).
CONNECTING THE WIRES
4.Haveanassistantsupportthextureweightwhilecompletingthewiring.
Cutawayexcesswire.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywires
fromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite
(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewire
pairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesurealltwistsarein
thesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthe
junctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(B)andwrapthe
xturegroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdriver
tosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothemountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatly
intothejunctionbox.
Please note that the xture may be hung as a
pendant or a ushmount, please decide how
you would like the xture to be installed and
refer to the related instructions.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION
5.Raisecanopy(S)totheceiling.Positionmountingscrews(A)sothattheyprotrudethroughtheopeningsofcanopy(S).
6.Securecanopy(S)tomountingstrap(B)withdecorativenuts(F).
7.Slideglassshades(P)oversockets(M)andsecureinplacewithsocketcovers(O).
8.
Installlightbulbs(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommended
wattage.
Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
FLUSH INSTALLATION
CLEANING TIPS
Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the
xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.
Please note that mounting
strap (B) is used in this
installation option. In this
conguration, canopy
(S) attaches directly to
mounting strap (B). do not
use top loop (L - please
ip the page and review
the diagram for more
information).
