RE AD ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
To reduce the risk of tipping the range, the range must be se cured
by a properly installed anti-tip brac ket. See installation instruction s
shipped with the brac ket for comple te re t details befo at empting
to l.instal
For Fr eestanding Ranges:
To kcheck if the brac et is installed and engaged properly, r veemo
the st worage dra er or kick panel and look underneath the range
to vsee that the le eling leg is engaged in the brac ket. sOn model
without a storage dra er or w kick pane ca l, refully tip the rang e
forward. k stThe brac et should op the range within 10.2 cm
(4 inches). If it does no t, k the brac et must be reinstalle Ifd. the rang e
is pulled from the all w for any reason, al ays w r prepeat this ocedure
to verify the range is pr curoperly se ed by the anti-tip brac ket.
Never comple ely t remove vthe le eling legs or the range will not
be se cured to pr y. the anti-tip device operl

disconnect the po wer supply at the household distributio n
panel by removing the use or switching f off the ci rcuit
br ker.ea
Do not lea ve rchild en alone―child ren should not be lef t
alone or unattended in an area whe re an appliance is in use .
They should ne ver be allo wed to clim b, ysit or stand on an
part .of the appliance
CAUTION: Do not store ritems of inte est to child ren
above a rd a renrange or on the backgua of rangechild
climbing on the range to reach items could be seriousl y
injured.
Use only dry pot holders―moist or damp pot holders on
hot su faces may r result in burns fr om steam. Do not let po t
holders touch hot su face r units or heating elements. Do no t
use a w to el or other bulky .cloth in place of pot holders
Never use your appliance for warming or heating the room.
Do not touch the su rface units, the heating elements or
the interior su face of r the oven. These su faces may be r
hot enough to burn even though they are r.dark in colo
During and after use, do not touch, or let clothing or othe r
flammable materials contact the su rface units, areas nearb y
the su face units or r any interior area of the oven; allo w
sufficient time for cooling firs t. r eOther su faces of th
appliance may become hot enough to cause burns .
Potentially hot su faces include the coo r ktop, ar eas facing
the coo ktop, ov v ren ent opening, su faces near the openin g
and cr arevices ound the oven doo r.
Do not heat unopened food containers. Pr re dessu could buil
up and the container could burs t, .causing an injury
Do not use aluminum foil to line the drip pans or anywhe re
in the oven, except as described in this manual. Misuse coul d
result in damage to the range and shock or fi re rhaza d.
Av oid scratching or impacting glass doors, coo tops k or
control panels. Doing so may lead to glass br teakage. Do no
cook on a product with broken glass. Shoc k, re yfi or cuts ma
occur.
Cook meat and poultry tho roughly―meat to at least an
internal temperatu re tof 71.C (16F) and poultry to at leas
an internal temperatu re eof 82.C (18F). Cooking to thes
temperatures usually pr otects against foodborne illness .
Do not sto re ov ror use flammable materials in an en or nea
the coo ktop, r, wincluding pape plastic, pot holders, linens, all
coverings, cu tains, drapes and gasoline or other flammabl r e
vapors and liquids .
Never ear loose-fitting w or hanging garments while usin g
the appliance. These garments may ignite if they contact ho t
su faces, causing sever re .burns
Do not let cooking grease or other flammable material s
accumulate in or near the range. Gr ovease in the en or on
the coo ktop may ignite.
Clean ventilating hoods frequently. Grease should not be
allowed to accumulate on the hood or filte r.

pan. Turn the cont rols of f. a Smother flaming pan on
a r vsu face unit by co ering the pan completely with a
well-fitting lid, cookie sheet or flat tray. Use a emulti-purpos
