Why does my wall oven make noises when I’m cooking?

Temperature changes during preheat and cool-down can make parts of the wall oven expand and contract. The controls click as they work to create even cooking temperatures. Different

fans run to heat up and cool down different parts of the oven, even when it’s off. These sounds are normal.

This oven doesn’t work like my old one. What’s wrong?

We know adjustment isn’t always easy. As you get used to a new wall oven, you may need to test and adjust cooking times and temperatures for recipes.

Why does my oven smoke when I use the broil setting?

Broiling is direct heat cooking and will produce some smoke. If smoke is excessive, place food further away from the element. Watch food to prevent burning.

BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS

Set up your oven

Remove all packaging material and tape and make

sure your oven racks are in place prior to operating

the wall oven. Check out your Use & Care Manual

for tips to help care for your wall oven.

Set your clock

It’s easy! Press the clock key, enter the correct time

using the numbered keys, and press START

Before cooking for the rst time

To get your oven ready to go, run the oven by

setting it to broil on high for 15 minutes. Then,

switch to bake at 350°F (177°C) for another 45

minutes. Some noise and odors may occur during

the rst cooking cycle.

BEFORE YOU START

Your oven controls

Using your oven starts with pressing the keys on your oven control.

• Do not use aluminum foil or any other materials to line the oven bottom, walls, racks

or any part of the oven.

• Do not add bleach, ammonia, oven cleaner, or any other abrasive household clean-

ers to the water used for Steam Clean.

REMEMBER

BAKE surrounds food with gentle, rising heat to cook delicate foods.

CONVECT BAKE uses a fan to circulate heat for quick and even results when baking

with multiple racks.

AIR FRY quickly and evenly circulates heated air to deliver crispy, golden results with

little to no oil.

BROIL is for broiling and grilling foods under direct, high heat.

COOK TIME counts down your set cooking time and shuts off the oven when complete.

STEAM CLEAN offers a time saving method to assist in the routine cleaning of small and

light soils.

DELAY START sets a delayed starting time to oven cooking or cleaning functions.

KEEP WARM is used to keep cooked foods at serving temperature (140°F / 60°C to

200°F / 93°C) in the oven.

Your microwave controls

Using your microwave starts with pressing the keys on your

microwave.

Microwave heating or cooking may be quickly set at 100%

power level for 1 -9 minutes. Use the number keys 1-9 to

choose the desired minutes of cook time (this option will only

work using the 1-9 numeric pads.) Press the number pad key

for the desired number of minutes. The microwave will start a

couple of seconds later.

When the time runs out, three long tones sound, and “FOOD

READY” shows in the display.

Pressing thepad once starts cooking at 100% power START

with 30 seconds of cooking time. Pressing thepad START

during cooking adds 30 seconds (for each press) to the cook

time at the current power level.

SENSOR COOK TECHNOLOGY detects and automatically

adjusts power levels and cooking times for a variety of items,

providing great-tasting results every time.

REHEAT will automatically adjust the cooking time to the

type and amount of food by detecting humidity released

during heating.
