This manual is your resource for the use and care
of your product. Please read it before using your
appliance. Keep it handy for quick reference. If
something doesnāt seem right, the troubleshooting
section will help you with common issues.

9 Installation Checklist
ļ°Read all the safety instructions in the front of
your Use & Care Manual.
ļ°Remove all packaging materials from your
appliance before cooking.
ļ°Conļ¬ rm that the electrical power to the appli-
ance is turned on.
ļ°Conļ¬ rm that the gas regular is turned on.
Check your installation instructions if you
need help.
ļ°Wipe out the inside of the oven cavity with a
damp cloth.
ļ°Apply a thin layer of cooking oil to the sides
of the oven racks to keep them gliding
smoothly.
ļ°Set the clock. See (āSetting the Clockā on
page 20) for instructions.
ļ°Test all surface elements/burners to make
sure they are working properly (āSetting sur-
face controlsā on page 16).
ļ°Before cooking, set the oven to bake at 350Ā°F
(177ĀŗC) for 30 minutes (āSetting Bakeā on
page 23). Some noise and odors are nor-
mal on the ļ¬ rst cooking cycle.
ļ°Remember to complete your product regis-
tration!
