• Each hot-plates is connected to a thermostat and an indicator lamp.

• The indicator lamp lights up when the appropriate hot-plate is switched on.

• The temperature of the hot-plate can be infinitely adjusted by the thermostat up

to max. 500°C.

In order to remove the invisible protective foil from the hot-plate, you must heat up

the hot-plate without a saucepan on it for about five minutes at max. heat. You need

not be worried about the slight development of fumes and smoke. While heating up

for the first time air the room thoroughly.

Cooking utensils: principally you should only use saucepans and frying-pans

designed for electric cookers with an appropriate diameter. If the surfaces of the

pans are uneven ot too small proper functioning cannot be guaranteed and energy

is wasted.

HOw TO USE THE AUTOMATIC CONTROL

The incorporated control regulates the temperature of the hot plate by switching it on

and off within short intervals.

Adhere to the following approximate values for achieving the desired temperature:

• keeping warm and warming up: stages 1 and 2

• steaming, stewing, boiling: stages 3 and 4

• frying, roasting: stages 5 and 6

The automatic hot-plate has the following advantages over conventional hot-plates:

it can be heated up with maximum energy and keeps the desired temperature with

minimum energy without being readjusted. Furthermore, overheating of the hot-plate

can thus be prevented.

CLEANING

Wipe the surface of the hot-plate when cold with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasives.

Do not dip the appliance into water.

FOR THE SAKE OF CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

Do not simply throw the packaging material or old appliances away, but hand them

in to recycling services. Ask your local authorities or the appropriate local agency for

further details concerning recycling.

IMPORTANT SAFETy INSTRUCTIONS

The safety of electrical appliances from complies with the recognized FIRST Austria

technical directives and legal regulations for safety. Nevertheless, you and the other

users of the appliance should observe the following:

• Please read these instructions carefully before using this appliance for the first

time and keep them for further reference.

• Only connect appliance to alternate current power supply with voltage as specified

on nameplate (grounding outlet).

• For use place the appliance on a clear, flat and heat-resistant surface. Distance

from the wall should be at least 5cm. The area above the appliance should be

kept free to allow an unobstructed air-circulation. Never place the appliance or

supply cable on hot surfaces. Nor should the appliance be placed or operated in

the vicinity of exposed gas flames.

• Make sure that there is no contact between the supply cable and hot parts of the

appliance.

• The appliance becomes hot during operation. Therefore be careful not to touch

any of the hot parts.

• Over-heated fats and oils can ignite. Food prepared with oils and fats (e.g. french

fries) should therefore always be prepared under supervision.

• As long as the appliance is hot – even when not connected to the mains – it

should be under supervision. Nor should it be under supervision. Nor should it be

transported with a saucepan on the hot-plate – danger of burning oneself. Allow

the appliance to cool down fully before cleaning and storing away.

• The plaug should be pulled: after use, before cleaning and in the event of

malfunctioning.

• Never dip the appliance into water. Also protect cable against moisture.

• Children do not realize the dangers which can arise when working with electrical

appliances. Therefore they should only be allowed to use electrical appliances only

under supervision. Special care should be taken in the presence of children.

• Do not pull at the mains cable for disconnecting appliance from the mains supply.

• If the appliance or the mains cable show any visible signs of damage they should

be examined by trained personnel or by customer service as special equipment

is required in this case.

• We are excluded of liability for all damages that may arise if the device is used for

purposes other than originally intended or if it is used inappropriately.

• The appliance features a regulatable hot-plate with a heating surface of 185mm

dia. and a wattage of 2000 watts. The hot plate is connected to a thermostat and

an indicator lamp.

• The indicator lamp lights up when the hot-plate is switched on.

• The temperature of the hot-plate can be infinitely adjusted by the thermostat up

to max. 500°C.

• Jede Kochplatte verfügt über einen Thermostat und eine Betriebskontroll-

leuchte.

• Die Betriebskontrollleuchte zeigt den Betrieb der jeweiligen Heizplatte.

• Die Temperatur der Kochplatten kann mittels jeweiligen Ther mostats auf bis zu

500° Celsius eingestellt werden.

Um die unsichtbare Schutzfolie von der Kochplatte zu entfernen, müssen Sie diese

für ca. 5 Minuten bei maximaler Hitze erhitzen (ohne Pfanne). Eine eventuelle

Rauchentwicklung bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme braucht Sie nicht zu beunruhigen,

achten Sie bitte auf ausreichende Raumdurchlüftung

Kochgeschirr: Verwenden Sie nur für Elektrokocher geeignetes Geschrirr mit

entsprechendem Durchmesser. Unebene Böden oder zu geringe Durchmesser

gewährleisten nicht den ordnungs gemäßen Betrieb und vergeuden Energie.

SO BENüTZEN SIE DIE AUTOMATISCHE KONTROLLE

Die eingebaute Temperaturautomatik reguliert die Temperatur der Kochplatte indem

sie sich in kurzen Intervallen ein- und ausschaltet.

Halten Sie sich an die folgenden Werte um die gewünschte Temperatur zu

erreichen:

• Warm halten und Aufwärmen: Stufe 1 und 2

• Dämpfen, Dünsten und Kochen: Stufe 3 und 4

• Rösten und Braten: Stufe 5 und 6

Die automatische Kochplatte hat folgende Vorteile gegenüber kon ventionellen

Kochplatten: Sie kann mit einem Maximum an Energie aufheizen und hält die

gewünschte Temperatur mit minimaler Energie ohne nachgestellt werden zu

müssen. Zudem wird ein Überhitzen der Kochplatte vermieden.

REINIGUNG

Säubern Sie die Oberfläche der Kochplatte in kaltem Zustand mit einem feuchten

Tuch. Benützen Sie keine Scheuermittel. Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in

Wasser.

EINER SAUBEREN UMwELT ZULIEBE

Werfen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial oder alte Geräte nicht einfach weg! Entsorgen

Sie bei den entsprechenden Stellen. Erkundigen Sie sich bei örtlichen Behörden

oder entsprechenden Institutionen nach weiteren Details betreffend Entsorgung und

Recycling.

wICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINwEISE

Elektrogeräte von erfüllen die anerkannten techFIRST Austria nischen und

rechtlichen Sicherheitsbe stimmungen. Zur gefahrlosen Verwendung dieses Gerätes

beachten Sie bitte folgende Hinweise:

• Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die Bedie nungsanleitung

sorgfältig, und bewahren sie diese für späteres Nachschlagen auf.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine passende Steckdose mit gleicher

Netzspannung, wie der auf dem Typen schild an der Geräteunterseite angegebenen,

an.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine saubere, flache und hitzebe ständige Unterlage in

einem Abstand von mindestens 5cm zur Wand. Der Platz über dem Gerät sollte

frei gehalten werden, damit die Luft ungehindert zirkulieren kann. Stellen Sie das

Gerät niemals auf heiße Unterlagen oder in die Nähe offenen Feuers. Stellen Sie

sicher, dass das Netzkabel nicht mit den heissen Teilen des Gerätes in Berührung

kommt.

• Bei Inbetriebnahme heizt sich das Gerät auf. Achten Sie daher darauf, die heißen

Teile nicht zu berühren.

• Überhitzte Fette können sich entzünden. Speisen, deren Zube reitung mit Fett oder

Öl erfolgt (z.B.: Pommes Frites), bedürfen daher ständiger Beobachtung.

• Lassen Sie das heisse Gerät niemals ohne Aufsicht – auch wenn das Netzkabel

nicht angeschlossen ist. Transportieren Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn sich Kochgeschirr

auf der Kochplatte befindet – es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

Verstauen Sie das Gerät erst in ausgekühltem Zustand.

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nach Gebrauch, vor der Reini gung und im Fall einer

Störung.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser. Schützen Sie auch das Kabel gegen

Feuchtigkeit.

• Kinder sind sich der Gefahren im Umgang mit Elektrogeräten nicht bewusst, sie

sollten daher nur unter Aufsicht mit elektrischen Geräten hantieren. Schon die

Verwendung in Gegenwart von Kindern erfordert besondere Vorsicht.

• Ziehen Sie beim Ausstecken des Gerätes nicht am Kabel sondern ausschließlich

am Stecker.

• Sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder am Netzkabel erfordern eine Überprüf ung und

Reparatur durch Fachpersonal oder einen Kunden dienst.

• Wir haften nicht für eventuelle Schäden durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder

zweckentfremdete Verwendung.

• Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet bei eingeschalteter Kochplatte.

• Die Temperatur der Kochplatte kann mittels Thermostat auf bis zu 500° Celsius
