SMK VRE 48 Setup Guide

The Extron SMK VRE 48 V-Rail Extension Kit allows the V-rails that ship with the SF Series

speakers to span 4' (1.2 m) tile grids. The extension bars use the same interlocks as the

modular V-rails that ship with the SoundField

® XD speakers, allowing the pieces to snap

together (see the speaker user manual for further details).

The V-rail extension bar is connected between the two V-rail half sections that come with the

speakers (see the steps below).

1. Assemble the V-rail to the extension bar by tting the tab on the V-rail end into the

slot on the extension end .1

2. Open the extension bar

until it locks together

with the V-rail. 2

3. Assemble the other V-rail

end to the extension bar

end by tting the slot on

the V-rail end onto the tab

on the extension end .3

4. Rotate the V-rail end

until it locks together

with the extension bar . 4
