Thisapplianceshallonlybeused in anaboveground open ‐airsituationwithnaturalventilation,withoutstagnantareas,

where aregas leakage andproductsofcombustion rapidlydispersedbywindandnaturalconvection.

Anyoutdoorenclosureinwhichtheapplianceisusedshallcomplywithoneofthefollowing:

 Anenclosurewithwalls levelon permanentallsides,but at leastone opening at ground andnooverheadcover.See

Figure1.

 Within a partialenclosurethatincludes  an overhead coverandnomorethantwowalls.SeeFigure  2 & 3.

‐At          least 25% of the total wall area is completely open; and

Important:

•Whendisconnectingandremovingthegascylinderforthepurposeofrefilling,alwaysobservethefollowing

procedure.

•Ensurethatallgascontrolvalvesontheapplianceandthegascylinderareturned off beforedisconnectingthe

regulatorfromthecylinder.

•Donotsmoke useor  a naked nearflame the orappliance gascylinderwhiledisconnecting linethegas between

theapplianceandgascylinder.

•Removethegascylinderfromtheenclosurebeforedisconnecting appliance.the theregulatorfrom  

•Tighten  all connections before back placing thegascylinder initsenclosure.

•Thegasleaktestingprocedureshouldbeconducted      every time the gas cylinder is refilledandreconnectedtothe

appliancebeforeusingthe appliance.



RegulatorConnection

1.Checkthat theallcontrolknobsarein ‘Off’position.

2.Makesurethecylindervalveisoff.

3.   Remove the protectivecapfromthecylinderifpresent.

4. Leak           test the connection with a soapy water solution.



GasLeakTestProcedure

Neveruse a nakedflameto check forgasleaks.

Alwaysusethefollowingproceduretocheckforgasleaks.

1.In a smallcontainer,mixup a solutionofwaterand 

detergentor thesoap.Mix solutionwell.

2.  Makesurethat the the gassupplyvalveon gascylinder

   is turned on.

3.Makesurethat the the gascontrolvalveson appliance 

areallturnedoff.

4. Using a brushorspraybottleapplythe thesolutionto  

gas galineandeachjoininthesline. 

5.Bubblingofthesolution will indicatethatthereis a leak 

present.

6.Re‐tightenor jointsre‐sealany that  are leaking.

7.If a leakpersiststhencontactyourdistributororthe 

manufacturerforassistance.


