Euroîex discharges itself of any liability for damage or injury that results from the
improper use of the appliance or failing to use the appliance according to the
instruction manual.
IMPORTANT: Before operating the appliance for the îrst time, read these instructions
carefully and keep them for future reference.
⢠This appliance complies with European Directives 2004/108/CEE regarding
âelectromagnetic compatibilityâ and 2006/95/CEE regarding âElectrical
product safetyâ. The appliance carries CE marking.
⢠The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the design and features
of the appliance without notice.
⢠This appliance is solely for household use. Commercial use of this appliance will
void the warranty.

Do not switch on the appliance if the steam hose shows signs of damage (cracks/
cuts), the electrical cable is damaged or if the appliance has been potentially
subject to non-identiîable damage (e.g. the appliance has been dropped, etc.).
⢠Do not connect the appliance before having made sure that electrical voltage
supply corresponds to the required voltage shown on the machine plate.
⢠The electric socket should be earthed and equipped with a 10A automatic circuit
breaker.
⢠Any extension cables should be checked to ensure they are rated 10A and
suitable for the appliance. Cables should be completely unwound prior to use.
⢠Failure to properly secure the steam hose connection could potentially lead to
steam escaping and the risk of scalding.
⢠The appliance should never be used if there are visible signs of damage or
leakage. Call the Customer Care Centre immediately.
⢠The manufacturer dischargers itself of any responsibility for damage or injury to
persons or property, in the event that the appliance is damaged as a result of
improper use, unauthorised repair or unauthorised maintenance work.
⢠Repairs should be carried out solely by personnel authorised by the
manufacturer/supplier. Repairs by personnel who are not authorised to do so
represent a risk and as such, are not covered by the warranty.
⢠The power cable should only be replaced by approved technical support
personnel authorised by the manufacturer/supplier.
⢠Do not operate the appliance outdoors if there is bad weather conditions.
⢠Do not expose the appliance to external atmospheric agents, dampness or heat.
⢠Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the appliance.
⢠Use solely manufacturer recommended accessories or spare parts.
⢠The steam released from the appliance is extremely hot at the point exiting the
appliance or accessory tools. If steam escapes from the appliance or the
accessory tools, scalding may occur. Avoid direct contact with the steam jet.
The steam symbol (symbol 5597 relative to IEC 60417-1) warns operators that
there is the risk of scalding!
⢠This appliance is not suitable for children, the physically or mentally disabled, or
persons without the necessary experience and know-how to handle the
appliance, unless they have been adequately trained by safety personnel.
⢠Keep out of the reach of children.

Keep the appliance in a safe dry place out of the reach of children when not in use.
⢠Do not pull on the electrical cable. Do not use the cable to move the appliance.
Do not exert undue pressure on the cable (i.e. when closing a door do not trap
the cable in between a door). Avoid any contact with sharp edges and corners.
Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
⢠No parts that are connected to an electrical power supply (e.g. switch, plug,
electronic components, etc) should be in contact with water.
⢠Disconnect the appliance from the power supply prior to any maintenance or
cleaning operations. Allow the steam appliance to cool down before storing away.
⢠Water used in the water tank should be free of additives, perfumes, or any other
chemical substances.

⢠Do not overturn or lean the appliance unduly to one side while the appliance is
in use.
⢠Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of persons, animals or plants.
⢠Do not point the jet of steam in the direction of electrical or household appliances.
⢠Do not insert any object in the various openings and do not use the appliance if
any opening is obstructed.
⢠Do not use the appliance with wet hands or bare footed.
⢠Do not use the appliance when close to îammable or explosive substances.
⢠The appliance should be used while the unit is sitting on the ground.

Dispose of plastic packaging appropriately, as it may represent a potential hazard
for children!
