The module has to be shipped in the original packaging
only. Any module shipped to us for return, exchange and/or
warranty repair has to be in its original packaging. All other
deliveries will be rejected and returned to you. Make sure
you keep the original packaging and technical documentation.

tured RoHS conforming without use of lead, mercury,
cadmium and chrome. Nevertheless, this device is special
waste and disposal in household waste is not recommended.

Erica Synths Black LPG is our take on Lowpass Gate idea – it’s designed from scratch
module featuring 2nd order lowpass VCF (the original Buchla lowpass gate was 1st order
VCF) and VCA combo with distinct resonance circuit on top. Voltage control over VCF cuto
frequency/VCA oset and mode (VCF/VCF+VCA/VCA), as well as built in decay envelope
generator makes it a versatile module for sound shaping in any modular setup.

The OFFSET knob controls VCF cuto frequency and VCA oset, depending
on the mode selected
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the instructions for use of the Erica Synths module below,
‘cause only this will guarantee proper operation of the module and
ensure warranty from Erica Synths.
Water is lethal for most of the electric devices, unless they are made
waterproof. This Erica Synths module is NOT intended for use in a
humid or wet environment. No liquids or other conducting
substances must get into the module. Should this happen, the
module should be disconnected from mains power immediately,
dried, examined and cleaned by a qualified technician.
Do not expose the module to temperatures above +50° C or below
-20° C. If you have transported module in extreme low temperatures,
leave it in room temperature for an hour before plugging it in.

Switch between regular sinewave resonance and overdriven/waveshaped,
harmonic-rich resonance

Adjust the CUTOFF/OFFSET manually
EG OUT
This is 0 - +10V decay envelope output
RESONANCE
This is the RESONANCE control. When set in far clockwise positions the Black
LPG goes into self-oscillation in all mode
DECAY CV
This is Decay CV input. Positive CV will increase a decay time
INPUT
This is the audio signal input
OUT
This is the audio output
CV IN
This is the CUTOFF/OFFSET CV input
DECAY
This is the manual Decay time adjustment knob. The Decay CV is added
to the knob setting
TRIGGER
This is the Trigger input. +5V trigger/gate will initiate a decay envelope.
THE LED gives a visual reference of the envelope state
MODE CV
This is the MODE CV input. The CV is added to the MODE switch position
MODE
Select between VCA/VCA+VCF/VCF modes. The MODE CV is added to the
selection, so, if you apply regular LFO signal and leave the switch in a mid position,
all modes will be covered
