Themodulecanconnectdirectlywithengine,thankstohighcurrentrelayoutputs.

Themodulehastwofeatureforfuel.Oneof“energizetorun”theother“energizetostop”.Usercanselectthe

featurefromprogramparameters.

Themoduleprotecttheengineagainstfaultconditions.Ifafaultconditionoccurred,themoduleindicatethefault

conditionandshut-downtheengine.

IfthekeyswitchisOFFpositionthemodulehaszeropowerconsumptiontosaveenergy.Themoduleenergizes

whenthekeyswitchpositionisgettingONposition.IfSatartbuttonispressed,theConf.Outrelayoutput(ifselected

preheatoutput)willactivateuntilthepreheatdelayisexpired.

PressStartbuttonforstartingtheengine.Whenengineisrunning,modulewillstopthecranking.

PressStopbuttonforstopingtheengine.Afterpressingthestopbutton,theenginewillkeeprunninguntilcooling

time(P21)isexpired.

Alsothemodulehasremotestartfacility.Pleaseselectsuitabletypeofremotestartforyourapplicationfrom

programparameters.Ifremotestartinputisactivethemodulewillstarttheengine.Ifremotestartispassivetheunitwill

stoptheengineaftercoolingtimeisexpired.

Themodulewillcheckthealarmsaftersafetyontimerisexpired.

Underoneofthisfaultconditionsthemodulewillstoptheengine;

-Overspeed(generatorapplication),

-Underspeed(generatorapplication),

-HighTemperature,

-LowOilPressure,

-Shutdown(ifoneofconf.inputselectedshutdownandactivated).

Toresetthefault,turnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionforafewseconds.

TheChargeFailureisawarningalarmsotheenginecontinuetoworkunderthisfailurecondition.Alsothisinput

supplyingchargealternatorexcitationcurrent.

Shutdowntheengine;

Iftheenginefueltypeis“energizetostop”,pressStopbuttonuntiltheenginecomestorest.AfterthatselectOFF

positionofthekeyswitch.

Iftheenginefueltypeis“energizetorun”,selectOFFpositionofthekeyswitch.

OntheFirePumpapplication;Ifafaultconditionoccurred,themodulewillnotstoptheengine.

Theenginewillbestoppedonlywhenthestopbuttonwaspressedortheremotestopsignalwasdetected.
