1.0 Introduction

1.1 Packing contents

The following parts need to be present in the packing:

• - PCI e 10/100/1000 Mbps Networking Adapter

• - . CD ROM with device drivers

1.2 Before you start

Unplug the power cord and disconnect all cables connected to the computer before

you begin the installation.

2.0 Installing the hardware

1. Remove all cabling connected to your computer.

2. Remove the computer’s housing.

3. Remove the lid.

4. Find an unused PCI e slot (the short connector on the mainboard).-

5. Insert the card firmly and straightly into the PCI-e slot.

6. Place the computer’s cover back on.

7. Reconnect the cabling.

8. Start your computer.

3.0 Installing the software Windows

Vista/7/8/10

1. Inse rt the CD-rom into the CD rom drive of your computer.-

2. The CD will start automatically

3. Select the right language

4. Click “Next”

5. Select “EM4029 Windows Vista”, “EM4029 Windows 7”, “EM4029 Windows 8” or

“EM4029 Windows 10”.

6. Click ‘Next’

Close the installation procedure using the instructions on the screen

You can also manually start the wizard, if the installation does not start automatically.

Click "Start", select "Run", type "x: wizard.exe" (the "x" represents the drive letter of \

your CD or DVD drive) and press Enter.
