This article is intended to help you set up your new eero PoE Gateway!

Installation Instructions

The eero PoE Gateway can be installed in any cool, dry area. Use the included power adapter to power

your PoE Gateway. If you would like to install your Gateway on a rack, we recommend using the

Amazon

eero 1U Rack Shelf for eero PoE Gateway which has been specially designed for easy installation.

What’s in the box:

(1) eero PoE Gateway

(1) 140W USB-C power adapter

What you’ll need:

eero iOS app or Android app

Minimum iOS version 15.0 and minimum Android OS version 9.0

eero PoE Gateway

For wireless capabilities, we suggest adding an or to theeero PoE 6eero PoE 7

network.

For wireless capabilities Outdoor, we suggest adding an eero Outdoor 7.

Mobile device with a data connection (If you don't have access to a data connection, see our

workaround instructions.)
