The Edimax ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG is a 24-port gigabit PoE Web Smart Switch with 4 SFP Slots. It is designed for

sturdy network connecons in medium to large network environments. Its standard 19-inch rack-mount brackets

allow for perfect integraon with the most widely used mounng systems on the market. The Edimax ES-

5824PG/ES-5824PHG is truly a superb choice to boost your network environment’s performance and eciency.

Complies with the IEEE 802.3at Power Over Ethernet (PoE+) Standard

The ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG features 24 IEEE 802.3at Power Over Ethernet ( +) ports, which supply up to 30 PoE

was of electricity per port. It can convert standard 100-240V AC electricity into low-voltage DC electricity to

power IEEE 802.3at/ compliant network accessories via exisng LAN cables. With detecon capability, the af PoE

ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG is able to verify whether the connected device is IEEE 802.3af compliant. In the event that

a PoE device is not detected, only network data will be transmied through the LAN cable. The ES-5824PG/ES-

5824PHG can be used with dierent products, such as access points, network cameras or VoIP devices and is PoE

an ideal soluon for network environments where power outlets are dicult to access.

Compliant with Cat 5 Ethernet Cables for Higher Cost Eciency

The ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG can transmit both power and network data via Cat 5 Ethernet cables. With the ES-

5824PG/ES-5824PHG, no special networking cables or power adapters are necessary for applicaons. The ES-PoE

5824PG/ES-5824PHG reduces the diculty me, and cost of establishing a sturdy network environment.

Features Power Budget UI for Easy Management of PoE Devices

The ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG features an innovave power budget UI that allows IT managers to monitor the

power consumpon of each port as well as the total power consumpon of devices connected to the ES-PoE

5824PG/ES-5824PHG. IT managers can easily monitor the whole network and assess the total power usage PoE

before adding new PoE devices to the PoE network architecture. The power budget UI also features a remote

on/o funcon for each port. When one device hangs, the IT manager does not need to unplug and plug PoE PoE

the network line manually. Simply by clicking the power on/o buon, the IT manager can reset the device PoE

remotely in seconds.

Smart Tools for Improved Network Eciency

The ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG features smart QoS/CoS and network monitoring tools that allow for improved

network eciency. Its security and management features include bandwidth control and VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q VLAN

tagging and port-based VLAN). Through its web-based interface, an administrator can set up VLANs to segregate

trac, priorize mission-crical data with QoS, and congure link aggregaon setngs to create fat trac pipelines.

In addion, the ES-5824PG/ES-5824PHG also supports Rapid Spanning Tree to detect and break unintenonal

cabling loops within the network. All of these features oer extra protecon on the network edge. Best of all, the

password-protected conguraon interface can be accessed remotely.
