Important:

Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit has been designed to work in conjunction with isolation valves that provide 3/4” hot and

cold service connections. If these valves have not been installed on your heater then the heater must be disconnected from the

plumbing and drained, and the Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit must be connected directly to the cold and hot water

connections. Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit is NSF approved and safe to dispose of in drains.*

Whats Included:

• EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit

built in pump

• AC Adapter

• 1 QT. liquid descaler solution

• (2) 5’ rubber hoses

Recommended Uses:



Vacuum Pumps, Condensers, Evaporators, Tanks, Potable Waterlines, and Water

Operated Equipment.

Descaling Instructions:

PLEASE NOTE: The Eccotemp EZ-Flush System

Descaler Kit MUST

use.

1. Disconnect power to water heater.

2. Close hot and cold isolation and service valves and

remove the service caps.

3. Connect one hose to the water outlet labeled

“OUTLET” and the other end of the same hose to

cold service valve.

4. Connect one hose to the water inlet labeled “INLET”

and the other end of the same hose to hot service

valve.

5. Pour in water along with contents of 1 quart Eccotemp

Descaler into the EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit until

you’ve reached the top of the runner hose inside of

the reservoir.

PLEASE NOTE: add additional water if needed to



6. Open both hot and cold service valves.

7. Plug Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit into

grounded receptacle.

8. Turn the Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit to

the on position labeled “ON”. Never allow pump to

run without adequate liquid in bucket or damage to

the pump will occur.

9. Allow pump to circulate Eccotemp EZ-Flush System

Descaler Kit solution through heater for 30-45 minutes.

10. Turn Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler Kit to the off

position labeled “OFF”.

11. Close cold service valve. Remove hose from cold

service valve, and replace service cap.

12. Disconnect the hose from the water inlet labeled

“INLET”. Discard Eccotemp EZ-Flush System Descaler

Kit Solution.*

13. Disconnect the hose from the outlet labeled “OUTLET”.



Please note: Flushing your EZ-Flush before storage is important to prevent corrosion of internal components of the EZ-Flush.

Eccotemp System LLC, guarantees this EZ-Flush System Descaler kit to the Owner of the EZ-Flush System



WARRANTY PERIOD

1. All Component Parts

If any component part proven to be defective in material or workmanship within one (1) year from the date of

original purchase of the EZ-Flush system Descaler kit, Eccotemp will furnish the Owner with a replacement of

the defective part(s).

2. 

When Owner cannot verify or document the original date of purchase, the warranty period begins on the date of



EXCLUSIONS

1. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY MADE BY THE MANUFACTURER AND

IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED (WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL),

INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR

PURPOSE.

2. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, special or contingent damages or

the water heater component part(s) or from its use.

a) The EZ- Flush System descaler kit or any of its component parts has been subject to misuse, alteration,

neglect or accident, or

b) The EZ-Flush system descaler kit has not been operated in accordance with the printed manufacturer’s

instructions.

1. Owner should contact the dealer who sold the water heater covered by this warranty or

arrange for the handling of the claim

3. Whenever any inquiry or service request is made, be sure to include the EZ-Flush system descaler kit

model number, the serial number, date of purchase, and the Dealer’s name.

4. When returning the EZ-Flush system descaler kit or component part(s), they must be individually tagged
