bereich geeignet. Die Schale kann mit Blumen bepﬂ anzt, mit

Wasser befüllt etc. werden.

• Der Artikel ist kein Spielzeug!

• Der Artikel ist für den Privatgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbli-

che Nutzung bestimmt.

• Den Artikel nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede

weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.

• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die

durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Re-

paraturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den normalen

Verschleiß.

terien können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Batteri-

en und Artikel für Kinder und Tiere unerreichbar aufbewahren.

Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische

Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

■VORSICHT – Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure! Sollte

eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, den Kontakt von Haut, Augen

und Schleimhäuten mit der Batteriesäure vermeiden. Bei Kon-

takt mit Batteriesäure die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich

klarem Wasser spülen und umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen.

■Vor dem Einlegen der Batterien prüfen, ob die Kontakte im

Artikel und an den Batterien sauber sind, und ggf. reinigen.

■Nur den in den „Technischen Daten“ angegebenen Batterietyp

verwenden.

■Immer alle Batterien ersetzen. Keine verschiedenen Batterie-

Typen, -Marken oder Batterien mit unterschiedlicher Kapazität

benutzen. Beim Batterietausch auf die Polarität (+ / –) achten.

■Die Batterien aus dem Artikel herausnehmen, wenn diese ver-

braucht sind oder der Artikel längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.

So werden Schäden durch Auslaufen vermieden.

■Den Artikel schützen vor: Stößen, Hitze, Minustemperaturen.

■Den Artikel bei Nichtgebrauch trocken und bei Zimmertempe-

raturen lagern.

■Den Artikel nicht auseinandernehmen und nicht versuchen, ihn

zu reparieren. Bei Schäden den Kundenservice kontaktieren.

■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungs-

mittel verwenden. Diese können die Oberﬂ äche beschädigen.

Lieferumfang

Den Lieferumfang auspacken und auf Vollständigkeit sowie mög-

liche Transportschäden überprüfen. Sollte ein Transportschaden

vorliegen, den Artikel nicht (!) verwenden, sondern den Kunden-

service kontaktieren.

• Dekosäule mit integriertem Batteriefach

• Schale

• Anleitung

Es werden 2 x 1,5 V-Batterie des Typs AA benötigt. Diese

sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Batterie einlegen / wechseln

Das Batteriefach beﬁ ndet sich im Inneren der Dekosäule.

1. Die Schale abnehmen.

2. In die Dekosäule fassen und das Batteriefach nach unten aus

der Halterung herausnehmen. Dafür die Halterung leicht nach

vorne ziehen.

3. Zum Öffnen des Batteriefachs beide Verriegelungen hoch-

klappen und den Batteriefachdeckel aufklappen.

4. Gegebenenfalls verbrauchte Batterien entnehmen und 2 neue

1,5 V-Batterien des Typs AA einlegen. Dabei auf die korrekte

Polarität (+ / –) achten (siehe Innenseite Batteriefach).

5. Den Batteriefachdeckel wieder zuklappen und die beiden

Verriegelungen runterklappen, sodass sie hör- und spürbar

einrasten.

6. Das Batteriefach wieder in die Halterung einsetzen.

Wenn die Leistung des Artikels nachlässt oder er zu ﬂ ackern

beginnt, sollten die Batterien ersetzt werden.

Benutzung

1. Artikel platzieren – Den Artikel an geeigneter Stelle aufstellen.

2. Einschalten – Den Ein- / Ausschalter an der Dekosäule auf

die Position I (An) stellen, um die LED einzuschalten.

TIMER: Die LED leuchtet für 6 Stunden, bevor sie sich au-

tomatisch ausschaltet.

Sie kann jederzeit wieder eingeschal-

tet werden, indem der Ein- / Ausschalter auf die Position 0 und

dann wieder auf I Position gestellt wird.

3. Ausschalten – Den Ein- / Ausschalter auf die Position 0 (Aus)

stellen, um die LED auszuschalten.

Entsorgung

Das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht entsorgen und

der Wertstoffsammlung zuführen.

Den Artikel umweltgerecht an einem Recyclinghof für elek-

trische und elektronische Altge räte entsorgen. Er gehört

nicht in den Hausmüll. Nähere Informationen bei der örtli-

chen Gemeindeverwaltung verfügbar.

Die Batterien sind vor der Entsorgung des Artikels zu ent-

nehmen und getrennt zu entsorgen. Im Sinne des Um-

weltschutzes dürfen Batterien und Akkus nicht über den

normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden, sondern müssen an

entsprechenden Sammelstellen abgegeben werden. Au-

ßerdem die geltenden gesetzlichen Regelungen zur Batte-

• This article is suitable for use as a decoration indoors and out-

doors. The bowl can be planted with ﬂ owers, ﬁ lled with water

etc.

tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects

caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-

tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

■WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep the article and the

packaging material away from children and animals.

■WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries

can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the article out

of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swallowed,

seek medical assistance immediately.

■CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery

has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous mem-

branes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch

battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant fresh water

immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.

■Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in

the article and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if

necessary.

■Use only the battery type speciﬁ ed in the “Technical Data”.

■Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of

different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.

When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).

■Take the batteries out of the article when they are dead or if the

article is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will

prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

■Protect the article from: collisions, heat, sub-zero tempera-

tures.

■Store the article in a dry place and at room temperatures when

it is not in use.

■Do not take the article apart and do not attempt to repair it. In

the event of any damage, please contact our customer service

department.

■Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-

ing. These can damage the surface.

Items Supplied

Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness and

for possible transport damage. If you should ﬁ nd any transport

damage, do not use the article(!), but contact the customer service

department.

2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type are required. These are

not supplied with the article.

Inserting / Changing the Battery

The battery compartment is located inside the decorative column.

1. Take off the bowl.

2. Reach into the decorative column and pull the battery com-

partment down out of the holder. To do this, pull the holder

forwards slightly.

3. To open the battery compartment, ﬂ ip up both catches and

open up the battery compartment cover.

4. Take used batteries out if necessary and insert 2 new 1.5 V

batteries of the AA type. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+

/ –) (see inside of battery compartment).

5. Flip the battery compartment cover shut again and ﬂ ip down

the two catches so that you feel and hear them engage.

6. Insert the battery compartment back into the holder.

If the performance of the article diminishes or it starts to ﬂ icker, the

batteries should be replaced.

Use

1. Positioning the Article – Set up the article in a suitable place.

2. Switching On – Move the On / Off switch on the decorative

column to the I (On) position to switch on the LED.

TIMER: The LED lights up for 6 hours before automatically

switching off.

It can be switched back on again at any time by

moving the On / Off switch to the 0 position and then back to

the I position.

3. Switching Off – Move the On / Off switch to the 0 (Off) posi-

tion to switch off the LED.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally

friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-

ner at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic

devices. It should not be disposed of in the normal house-

The batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the

article and disposed of separately. To protect the environ-

ment, non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries must

not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

■Avant de mettre les piles en place, vériﬁ ez si les contacts

dans l'article et sur les piles sont propres ; nettoyez-les le cas

échéant.

■Utilisez uniquement le type de pile indiqué dans les « Caracté-

ristiques techniques ».

■Remplacez toujours toutes les piles en même temps. N'utilisez

pas de piles de type, de marque ou de capacité différents. Au

remplacement des piles, respectez la polarité (+/–).

■Retirez les piles de l'article lorsqu'elles sont usées ou si vous

n'utilisez plus l'article pendant une assez longue période. Vous

éviterez ainsi les dommages dus à d'éventuelles fuites.

■Protégez l'article des chocs, de la chaleur et des températures

■Stockez l'article au sec et à température ambiante lorsque

vous ne l'utilisez pas.

■Ne démontez pas l'article et ne tentez pas de le réparer. En cas

sifs ou abrasifs. car ceux-ci risquent d'endommager la surface

Composition

Déballez l'ensemble livré, assurez-vous qu'il soit au complet et ne

présente pas de dommages éventuellement imputables au trans-

port. En cas de dommages subis au cours du transport, n'utilisez

pas l'article, mais contactez le service après-vente.

2 piles de 1,5 V de type AA sont par ailleurs requises.

Celles-ci ne sont pas fournies.

Mise en place / remplacement des piles

Le compartiment à piles se trouve à l'intérieur de la colonne déco-

rative.

1. Ôtez la coupelle.

2. Saisissez depuis l'intérieur de la colonne le compartiment à

piles en l'extrayant par le bas de son support. Vous devez à cet

effet tirer le support légèrement vers l'avant.

3. Pour ouvrir le compartiment à piles, relevez les deux verrous

et ôtez le cache du compartiment à piles.

4. Retirez les piles éventuellement usagées et insérez 2 piles

neuves de 1,5 V de type AA. Veuillez respecter la bonne pola-

rité (+/–) (voir intérieur du compartiment à piles).

5. Rabattez le cache du compartiment à piles ainsi que les deux

verrous qui doivent produire un déclic clairement audible.

6. Remettez le compartiment à piles dans le support.

Lorsque l'article perd de sa puissance ou que la lumière vacille, il

faut changer les piles.

Utilisation

1. Positionnement de l'article – placez l'article à l'endroit ap-

proprié.

2. Mise en marche – amenez l'interrupteur marche / arrêt de la co-

lonne décorative sur la position I (marche) pour allumer la DEL.

Minuterie : la DEL reste allumée pendant 6 heures avant de

s'éteindre automatiquement.

Elle peut être rallumée à tout mo-

ment en amenant l'interrupteur marche / arrêt sur la position 0

puis sur la position I.

3. Arrêt – placez l'interrupteur marche / arrêt en position 0 (arrêt)

pour arrêter la DEL.
