bereich geeignet. Die Schale kann mit Blumen bepfl anzt, mit
Wasser befüllt etc. werden.

• Den Artikel nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
■WARNUNG – Erstickungsgefahr! Den Artikel und das Ver-
packungsmaterial von Kindern und Tieren fernhalten.
■WARNUNG – Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure! Bat-
terien können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Batteri-
en und Artikel für Kinder und Tiere unerreichbar aufbewahren.
Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische
Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.
■VORSICHT – Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure! Sollte
eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, den Kontakt von Haut, Augen
und Schleimhäuten mit der Batteriesäure vermeiden. Bei Kon-
takt mit Batteriesäure die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich
klarem Wasser spülen und umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen.
■Vor dem Einlegen der Batterien prüfen, ob die Kontakte im
Artikel und an den Batterien sauber sind, und ggf. reinigen.
■Nur den in den „Technischen Daten“ angegebenen Batterietyp
verwenden.
■Immer alle Batterien ersetzen. Keine verschiedenen Batterie-
Typen, -Marken oder Batterien mit unterschiedlicher Kapazität
benutzen. Beim Batterietausch auf die Polarität (+ / –) achten.
■Die Batterien aus dem Artikel herausnehmen, wenn diese ver-
braucht sind oder der Artikel längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
So werden Schäden durch Auslaufen vermieden.
■Den Artikel vor offenem Feuer und Stößen schützen.
■Den Artikel niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten tau-
chen! Er ist lediglich spritzwassergeschützt.
■Bei extremen Wetterbedingungen (z. B. Sturm, Hagel) oder
wenn der Artikel längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, den Artikel
ausschalten und an einem trockenen Ort aufbewahren.
■Den Artikel nicht auseinandernehmen und nicht versuchen, ihn
zu reparieren. Bei Schäden den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungs-
mittel verwenden. Diese können die Oberfl äche beschädigen.
Lieferumfang
Den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit sowie mögliche Transport-
schäden überprüfen. Sollte ein Transportschaden vorliegen, den
Artikel nicht (!) verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice kontak-
tieren.
• Dekosäule mit integriertem Batteriefach
• Schale
• Anleitung
Es werden 2 x 1,5 V-Batterie des Typs AA benötigt. Diese
sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Batterie einlegen / wechseln
Das Batteriefach befi ndet sich im Inneren der Dekosäule.
1. Die Schale abnehmen.
2. In die Dekosäule fassen und das Batteriefach nach oben aus
der Halterung herausschieben.
3. Zum Öffnen des Batteriefachs beide Verriegelungen hoch-
klappen und den Batteriefachdeckel aufklappen.
4. Gegebenenfalls verbrauchte Batterien entnehmen und 2 neue
1,5 V-Batterien des Typs AA einlegen. Dabei auf die korrekte
Polarität (+ / –) achten (siehe Innenseite Batteriefach).
5. Den Batteriefachdeckel wieder zuklappen und die beiden
Verriegelungen runterklappen, sodass sie hör- und spürbar
einrasten.
6. Das Batteriefach von oben wieder in die Halterung einsetzen.
Dabei darauf achten, dass die LED nach innen zeigt.
Wenn die Leistung des Artikels nachlässt oder er zu fl ackern
beginnt, sollten die Batterien ersetzt werden.
Bei starken Minustemperaturen kann die Batterieleistung
stark beeinträchtigt werden.
Benutzung
1. Artikel platzieren – Den Artikel an geeigneter Stelle aufstellen.
2. Einschalten – Den Ein- / Ausschalter an der Dekosäule auf
die Position I (An) stellen, um die LED einzuschalten.
TIMER: Die LED leuchtet für 6 Stunden, bevor sie sich au-
tomatisch ausschaltet.
Sie kann jederzeit wieder eingeschal-
tet werden, indem der Ein- / Ausschalter auf die Position und 0
dann wieder auf Position gestellt wird.I
3. Ausschalten – Den Ein- / Ausschalter auf die Position 0 (Aus)
stellen, um die LED auszuschalten.

Intended Use
• This article is suitable for use as a decoration indoors and out-
doors. The bowl can be planted with fl owers, fi lled with water
etc.
• The article is not a toy!
• The article is for personal household use only and is not in-
tended for commercial applications.
• The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
■WARNING – Danger of Suffocation! Keep the article and the
packaging material away from children and animals.
■WARNING – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! Batteries
can be deadly if swallowed. Keep batteries and the article out
of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swallowed,
seek medical assistance immediately.
■CAUTION – Danger of Burns from Battery Acid! If a battery
has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch
battery acid, rinse the affected area with abundant fresh water
immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
■Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in
the article and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if
necessary.
■Use only the battery type specifi ed in the “Technical Data”.
■Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of
different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
■Take the batteries out of the article when they are dead or if the
article is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will
prevent any damage if a battery leaks.
■Protect the article from naked fl ames and impact.
■Never immerse the article in water or other liquids. It is only
resistant to splashing.
■During extreme weather conditions (e. g. storm, hail) or if the
article will not be used for a long time, switch it off and store it
in a dry place.
■Do not take the article apart and do not attempt to repair it. In
the event of any damage, please contact our customer service
department.
■Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-
ing. These can damage the surface.
Items Supplied
Check the items supplied for completeness and for possible trans-
port damage. If you should fi nd any transport damage, do not use
the article(!), but contact the customer service department.

2 x 1.5 V batteries of the AA type are required. These are
not supplied with the article.
Inserting / Changing the Battery
The battery compartment is located inside the decorative column.
1. Take off the bowl.
2. Reach into the decorative column and pull the battery com-
partment up out of the holder.
3. To open the battery compartment, fl ip up both catches and
open up the battery compartment cover.
4. Take used batteries out if necessary and insert 2 new 1.5 V
batteries of the AA type. Pay attention to the correct polarity
(+ / –) (see inside of battery compartment).
5. Flip the battery compartment cover shut again and fl ip down
the two catches so that you feel and hear them engage.
6. Insert the battery compartment from above back into the hold-
er. Make sure the LED shows to the inside.
If the performance of the article diminishes or it starts to fl icker, the
batteries should be replaced.
The battery performance may be severely restricted in
temperatures well below freezing.
Use
1. Positioning the Article – Set up the article in a suitable place.
2. Switching On – Move the On / Off switch on the decorative
column to the I (On) position to switch on the LED.
TIMER: The LED lights up for 6 hours before automatically
switching off.
It can be switched back on again at any time by
moving the On / Off switch to the 0 position and then back to
the I position.
3. Switching Off – Move the On / Off switch to the 0 (Off) posi-
tion to switch off the LED.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

de contact avec l’électrolyte, rincez immédiatement et abon-
damment à l’eau claire les zones touchées, puis consultez un
médecin sans attendre.
■Avant de mettre les piles en place, vérifi ez si les contacts
dans l’article et sur les piles sont propres ; nettoyez-les le cas
échéant.
■Utilisez uniquement le type de pile indiqué dans les « Caracté-
ristiques techniques ».
■Remplacez toujours toutes les piles en même temps. N’utilisez
pas de piles de type, de marque ou de capacité différents. Au
remplacement des piles, respectez la polarité (+/–).
■Retirez les piles de l’article lorsqu’elles sont usées ou si vous
n’utilisez plus l’article pendant une assez longue période. Vous
éviterez ainsi les dommages dus à d’éventuelles fuites.
■Veillez à ce que l’article ne soit pas soumis à des chocs ; main-
tenez-le loin de toute fl amme et source de chaleur.
■N’immergez jamais l’article dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Il
est seulement doté d’une protection anti-éclaboussures.
■Dans des conditions météorologiques extrêmes (par ex. en
cas de tempête ou d’orage de grêle) ou lorsque l’article n’est
pas utilisé pendant une période prolongée, éteignez-le et ran-
gez-le dans un endroit sec.
■Ne démontez pas l’article et ne tentez pas de le réparer. En cas

■Pour le nettoyage, n’utilisez pas de produits nettoyants corro-
sifs ou abrasifs. car ceux-ci risquent d’endommager la surface

Composition
Assurez-vous que l’ensemble livré soit au complet et ne présente
pas de dommages éventuellement imputables au transport. En
cas de dommages subis au cours du transport, n’utilisez pas l’ar-
ticle, mais contactez le service après-vente.

2 piles de 1,5 V de type AA sont par ailleurs requises.
Celles-ci ne sont pas fournies.
Mise en place / remplacement des piles
Le compartiment à piles se trouve à l’intérieur de la colonne déco-
rative.
1. Ôtez la coupelle.
2. Placez vos mains à l’intérieur de la colonne et sortez le com-
partiment à piles en le poussant vers le haut de son support.
3. Pour ouvrir le compartiment à piles, relevez les deux verrous
et ôtez le cache du compartiment à piles.
4. Retirez les piles éventuellement usagées et insérez 2 piles
neuves de 1,5 V de type AA. Veuillez respecter la bonne pola-
rité (+/–) (voir intérieur du compartiment à piles).
5. Rabattez le cache du compartiment à piles ainsi que les deux
verrous qui doivent produire un déclic clairement audible.
6. Remettez du haut le compartiment à piles dans le support.
Faites attention que le LED pointe vers l’intérieur.
Lorsque l’article perd de sa puissance ou que la lumière vacille, il
faut changer les piles.
La puissance des piles peut être fortement limitée en cas de
températures négatives importantes.
Utilisation
1. Positionnement de l’article – placez l’article à l’endroit
approprié.
2. Mise en marche – amenez l’interrupteur marche / arrêt de la co-
lonne décorative sur la position (marche) pour allumer la DEL.I
Minuterie : la DEL reste allumée pendant 6 heures avant de
s’éteindre automatiquement.
Elle peut être rallumée à tout mo-
ment en amenant l’interrupteur marche / arrêt sur la position 0
puis sur la position I.
3. Arrêt – placez l’interrupteur marche / arrêt en position 0 (arrêt)
pour arrêter la DEL.
