for parts and labour for 2 years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms of

the guarantee. If you have any questions about your Dyson appliance, call the Dyson

Helpline with your serial number and details of where/when you bought the appliance.

Most questions can be solved over the phone by one of our trained Dyson Helpline

staff. Your serial number can be found on your rating plate which is behind the ﬁlter.

na de aankoopdatum onder de garantie voor onderdelen en arbeid, afhankelijk

van de garantievoorwaarden. Bel als u vragen hebt over uw Dyson apparaat de

Dyson Benelux Helpdesk en houdt uw serienummer en gegevens over waar/wanneer

u het product gekocht hebt bij de hand. De meeste vragen kunnen telefonisch

worden beantwoord door een van onze Dyson Benelux Helpdeskmedewerkers. Het

serienummer vindt u op het typeplaatje achter het ﬁlter.

вопросов можно уладить по телефону с одним из квалифицированных

находится на табличке рядом с промывным фильтром.

1. This Dyson appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm

persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities, or lack

of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction by a responsible person concerning use of the appliance to ensure

that they can use it safely.

2. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or

near young children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the appliance.

3. Use only as described in this Dyson Operating Manual. Do not carry out any

maintenance other than that shown in this manual, or advised by the Dyson

Helpline.

4. Suitable for dry locations only. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

5. Do not handle any part of the plug or appliance with wet hands.

6. Do not use with a damaged cable or plug. If the supply cable is damaged it

must be replaced by Dyson, its service agent or similarly qualified person in

order to avoid a hazard.

7. If the appliance is not working as it should, has received a sharp blow, has

been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and

contact the Dyson Helpline.

8. Contact the Dyson Helpline when service or repair is required. Do not

disassemble the appliance as incorrect reassembly may result in an electric

shock or fire.

9. Do not stretch the cable or place the cable under strain. Keep the cable away

from heated surfaces. Do not close a door on the cable, or pull the cable

around sharp edges or corners. Arrange the cable away from traffic area and

where it will not be stepped on or tripped over.

10. Do not unplug by pulling on the cable. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable.

The use of an extension cable is not recommended.

11. Do not use to pick up water.

12. Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as petrol, or use

in areas where they or their vapours may be present.

13. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes,

matches, or hot ashes.

14. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings

and moving parts. Do not point the hose, wand or tools at your eyes or ears or

put them in your mouth.

15. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked;

keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.

16. Use only Dyson recommended accessories and replacement parts.

17. Make sure the cable is located so that it will not be stepped on, tripped over, or

otherwise subjected to damage or stress.

18. Do not use without the clear bin and filter in place.

19. Unplug when not in use for extended periods and before maintenance or

servicing.

20. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

21. Do not install, charge or use this appliance outdoors, in a bathroom or within

3 metres (10 feet) of a pool. Do not use on wet surfaces and do not expose to

moisture, rain or snow.

22. Use only Dyson chargers for charging this Dyson appliance. Use only Dyson

batteries: other types of batteries may burst causing injury to persons and

damage.

23. Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The battery may

explode in a fire.

24. Do not press the battery release button during normal operation.

25. Always turn ‘OFF’ the appliance before connecting or disconnecting the

motorised brush bar.

1. Cet appareil Dyson n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé par de jeunes enfants

recevoir des instructions sur l’utilisation de l’appareil de la part d’une personne

2. Cet appareil n’est pas un jouet et ne doit donc pas être utilisé comme tel. Une

attention particulière est nécessaire lors de son utilisation par ou à proximité de

l’utiliser et contacter le Service Consommateurs de Dyson.

8. Contacter le Service Consommateurs de Dyson en cas de besoin d’un conseil ou

d’une réparation. Ne pas démonter l’appareil Dyson car un remontage incorrect

pourrait entraîner un choc électrique ou un incendie.

9. Ne pas étirer le câble ou exercer une tension dessus. Garder le câble à l’écart

des surfaces chauffées. Ne pas fermer une porte sur le câble ou ne pas tirer sur

le câble lorsque celui-ci se trouve à proximité d’angles vifs. Garder le câble à

l’écart de la zone de passage, dans un endroit où personne n’est susceptible de

marcher ou de trébucher dessus.

10. Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le cordon d’alimentation. Pour débrancher,

saisir la prise et non le cordon. L’utilisation d’une rallonge n’est pas

recommandée.

11. Ne pas utiliser pour aspirer de l’eau.

12. Ne pas utiliser pour aspirer des liquides inflammables ou combustibles comme

l’essence, ou dans des endroits où un liquide de ce t ype pourrait être présent.

13. Ne rien aspirer qui brule ou qui fume, comme des cigarettes, des allumettes ou

des cendres incandescentes.

14. Éloigner les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toute autre partie

du corps des ouvertures et des pièces mobiles de l’appareil. Ne pas diriger

le flexible, le tube ou les accessoires vers les yeux ou les oreilles et ne pas les

porter à la bouche.

15. Ne pas placer d’objets dans les ouvertures de l’appareil. Ne pas utiliser

l’appareil en cas d’obstruction d’une ouverture. S’assurer que rien ne réduit le

flux d’air : poussières, peluches, cheveux ou autres.

16. N’utiliser que les accessoires et pièces de rechange recommandés par Dyson.

17. Vérifiez que le cordon d’alimentation est placé de façon à ne pas subir de

dommages ou de contraintes et à ce que personne ne risque de marcher ou de

trébucher dessus.

18. Ne pas utiliser sans que le collecteur transparent et le filtre soient en place.

19. Débranchez l’appareil lors de périodes de non-utilisation prolongées et avant

tout entretien ou nettoyage.

20. Redoubler de prudence dans les escaliers.

21. N’installez, ne rechargez et n’utilisez pas cet appareil en extérieur, dans une

salle de bains ou à moins de 3mètres d’une piscine. Ne l’utilisez pas sur une

surface humide et ne l’exposez pas à l’humidité, la pluie ou la neige.

22. Utilisez uniquement des chargeurs Dyson pour recharger cet appareil. Utilisez

uniquement des batteries Dyson: d’autres types de batteries risquent d’éclater

et de provoquer des blessures corporelles et autres dommages.

23. N’incinérez pas l’appareil même s’il est très endommagé. La batterie risquerait

d’exploser.

24. Ne pas appuyer sur le bouton de libération de la batterie lors de l’utilisation de

l’appareil.

25. Éteignez toujours l’appareil avant de brancher ou de débrancher la brosse

motorisée.
