Please read these instructions before using the DynaTrap
® Insect Trap and keep for future reference.
1. To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used near children.
2. Do not Contact moving parts.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Connect only to a circuit that is protected by a ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI).
5. Always turn unit off and disconnect plug before servicing, cleaning, or changing bulb.
6. Do not position the unit near heat, gas, oil or other flammable materials.
7. Mount product out of reach from children.
8. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or if it has been dropped into water.
9. Do not insert fingers or any foreign objects into the unit while it is connected to an electrical outlet.
10. Collected mosquitoes within the unit may contribute to fire, so clean insects from the unit frequently.
11. Do not clean this product with water spray. Do not place where it can fall into water, or near flammable materials.
12. Do not touch fan while in motion.
13. Do not abuse cord—never carry or hang unit by cord or yank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord away from
heat, oil, or sharp edges.
14. Use only extension cords that are clearly marked “Suitable for Use with Outdoor Appliances” and that have plug and
receptacles that match the product plug. Replace all damaged cords.
15. Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
16. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
17. Do not use the machine on desk or in hand.

warranty is limited to remedy any defective part for a period of one year from date of original date of purchase. Retain
your original receipt as proof of purchase. This warranty does not apply to the light bulb, nor to, in our judgment, misuse or
abuse. If this unit has been altered, no warranty is in force. This warranty does not apply if this unit is purchased outside the
United States, excluding Canada and Mexico. In no case shall DYNAMIC be liable for any accidental, punitive, consequential,
or any other damages of any kind for breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, whatsoever. Some states

INSTALLATION & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack unit. Save carton for off-season storage (if needed).
2. If hanging or mounting the unit place approximately 3–6 feet above the floor/ground level for optimal catch
rate and easy access for cleaning.
3. Connect power cord by aligning notch (A) and pushing together. Secure connection by twisting nut (B). See Illustration.
4. The unit will automatically turn on when plugged in.
5. If using outdoors, plug cord into an outdoor outlet or UL listed extension cord as described in
“IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS”.
6. For best catch results leave unit on at all times, except when cleaning or servicing.
7. For outdoor use only. It is recommended to place the unit 20-40 feet away from where people will be sitting.
8. Catch rate activity wil be higher at night. For best catch results it is recommended to keep the unit away from competing
light sources. Intended for household use only.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS - CLEANING
Frequent cleaning will prolong the life of the unit, ensure fire prevention and provide for more efficient operation.
1. Be sure to clean the unit once per week
2. To clean, unplug the unit.
3. For weekly cleaning, twist the cage clockwise to remove. Remove all buildup from the inside of the retaining cage, funnel,
and fan with a brush.
4. When replacing the retaining cage – DO NOT press/push against the screen windows.
LED BULB
The Light bulb life expectancy is approximately 40,000 hours (or about 4.5 years of continuous 24/7 operation) and is not
replaceable. If you experience any trouble with your Dynatrap LED, please see troubleshooting.
HOW THE DYNATRAP® INSECT TRAP WORKS
Flying insects are attracted to the unit by UV-LED light and CO2
that is generated by the photo-catalysis between the UV-LED
lamps and special TiO2 coating. The fan then pulls the insects into
the screened base, trapping them until they dehydrate and die.
The base can be removed, allowing the contents to be
periodically emptied into the trash.

ATRAKTA® attracts mosquitoes, including those which may transmit West Nile virus, Encephalitis, Zika virus, Chikungunya virus,
to the trap where they die. See ‘First Aid and Precautionary Statements’ and ‘Directions for Use’ on package instructions.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD
Sírvase leer estas instrucciones antes de usar el trampa electrónico de insectos DynaTrap® y guárdelas como referencia futura.

14. Use sólo cables de extensión que están claramente marcados “Adecuado para usarse en aparatos al aire libre” y que
tienen enchufe y receptáculos que coinciden con el enchufe del producto. Reemplace todos los cables dañados.
15. Utilice únicamente accesorios recomendados o vendidos por el fabricante.
16. No desconecte el aparato tirando del cable. Para desenchufar, tome el enchufe, no del cable.

Cuando use aparatos eléctricos, se deben de seguir precauciones básicas, incluyendo lo siguiente:
– Desconecte del enchufe cuando no este en uso y antes de darle servicio.

INSTALACION E INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION
1. Desempaque la unidad. Guarde el cartón para el almacenamiento fuera de temporada (si es necesario).
2. Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente o a un cable de extensión como se describe en
“IMPORTANTES INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD”.
3. Conecte el cable de alimentación alineando la muesca (A) y empujando juntas. Asegure la conexión girando la tuerca (B).
Vea la ilustración.
4. La unidad se encenderá automáticamente cuando está enchufado.
5. Para obtener los mejores resultados de capturas dejan unidad en todo momento (24/7), excepto cuando la limpieza o el
mantenimiento.
6. La captura de insectos será más alta por la noche. Para obtener los mejores resultados de capturas se recomienda para
mantener la unidad lejos de fuentes de luz que compitan con a luz de la trampa.
7. Se recomienda colocar la unidad por lo menos 10-20 pies de distancia de donde la gente va a estar sentado.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Y MANTENIMIENTO – LIMPIEZA
La limpieza frecuente prolongará la vida útil de la unidad, garantizara la prevención de incendios y proveerá un funciona-
miento más eficiente.
1. Asegúrese de limpiar la unidad una vez por semana.
2. Para limpiar, desenchufe la unidad.
3. Para la limpieza semanal, gire la jaula de retención de acuerdo a las agujas del reloj. Remueva los insectos acumulados en
el interior de la jaula de retención, embudo, y aspas del ventilador con un cepillo.
4. Cuando remueva la jaula de retención - NO presione la malla de metal, p2-ya que esto causara que se deforme la malla.
FOCOS
La esperanza de vida de la bombilla es de aproximadamente 40,000 horas (o aproximadamente 4.5 años de funcionamiento
continuo las 24 horas, 7 días a la semana) y no es reemplazable. Si experimenta algún problema con su Dynatrap LED,
consulte la resolución de problemas.
CÓMO FUNCIONA LA TRAMPA MOSQUITOS DYNATRAP®
Los insectos voladores son atraídos a la unidad por la luz UV-LED y
el CO2 que se genera por la fotocatálisis entre las lámparas UV-LED
y el recubrimiento especial de TiO2. Luego, el ventilador tira de
los insectos hacia la base apantallada, atrapándolos hasta que se
deshidratan y mueren. La base se puede quitar, permitiendo que el
contenido se vacíe periódicamente en la basura.
