ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The tool is supplied with three collet sizes ‘D’.

To change the collet, unscrew the top nut ‘A’.

Completely withdraw the central metal threaded

bolt, remove the collet and replace with the required

one.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Place the pressure plate on top of the clutch plate

(Fig. 1).

2. Fit the clutch tool into the pressure plate and

clutch plate, then push nut ‘B’ down (Fig. 2).

3. Tighten nut ‘A’ (Fig. 3).

4. Finger tighten nut ‘C’.

5. Turn the assembled unit over, and centre/align

the clutch plate onto the pressure plate. Tighten

nut ‘C’ (Fig. 4).

The complete pre-assembled clutch and pressure

plate unit can now be installed on the vehicle.

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS refer to the vehicle

manufacturer’s or Haynes workshop manual for

detailed and concise instructions on how to remove

and replace the clutch assembly in your vehicle.
