Congratulations
Congratulations on your purchase of the Definitive
Technology BPVX Bipolar Surround/Satellite
Speaker System. This revolutionary loudspeaker
utilizes state-of-the-art components (cast-basket
homopolymer-coned bass/midrange drivers, moving
coil ferrofluid-cooled dome high-frequency radiators,
uniphase crossover networks, etc.), a non-resonant
monocoque cabinet and low diffraction construction
in order to achieve the most lifelike sound possible in
your listening room for many years to come. The
BPVX is a compact, high quality bipolar (equal sound
radiates both front and rear) speaker system intended
primarily for use as a rear or side speaker in a Dolby
Pro Logic*, DSP*, DTS* or Dolby AC-3* (5.1)
Surround Sound system. In addition, it can also be
used as a front “effects” speaker in multi-channel
DSP systems, or as a front main left and right speaker.
