1.Providea1/4IPSpipewithoneendsecurelymountedtoabeamorastructuralmember.
Theotherendshouldprotrudethroughthecenteroftheoutlet,asshown.
2. Assemblethescrewcollarloop,nipple,hexnutsandhickeytocenter1/4IPSsupport
pipeandadjustoveralllengthtoallowthecollarringtoholdthe canopyflushtothe
ceiling.Whentheadjustmentshavebeencompletedsecurethehexnut,asshown.
3. Attachthechaintothefixtureloop.Slidethescrewcollarringovertheupperendofthe
chain,throughthe(Finishedsidedown).Opentheendlinkofchainandliftthefixtureto
attachtothescrewcollarloopandsecurethelink.
4.Lacethefixturewires,groundwiresandsafetycablethroughthechainandscrewcollar
loop,existingthroughthesideofHICKEY.ProceedtoattachtheFIXTUREGROUNDWIRE
toHOUSEGROUNDWIREusingwireconnector.Usingwireconnectors,connectthe
HOUSEWHITEWIREtotheFIXTURESUPPLY WIRE (WHITEORRIBBEDSIDE);connect
theHOUSEBLACK(orRED)WIREtotheFIXTURESUPPLY WIRE(BLACKorSMOOTH
SIDE).Wrapallconnectorswithapprovedelectricaltape.Wrapsafetycablearoundoutlet
boxbraceandpullcabletaut.Securecablewiththeclampand(2)setscrewsprovided,as
shown.
5.PushtheCANOPY upwardovertheOUTLETBOX.Besurethatallwiresarecarefully
tuckedintotheOUTLETBOXcavity.SecurecanopyagainstceilingbythreadingCANOPY
LOCKRINGontotheCANOPY LOOP.Tightenuntilsnug.
