General information
General informationGeneral information
General information
Inline skating is a high-risk sport. The risks involved can
be reduced by wearing protective equipment and skat-
ing carefully. You should always perform checks your-
self to increase the level of protection against injury.
1. You should check the equipment each time before
you skate. This includes checking that the axles and
wheels are secure, and checking the wheels and
stoppers for wear. If necessary, tighten the screws
and nuts with the standard tool provided.
2. To put the skates on, untie the laces and release the
buckle (fig. B – D). Then pull the inline skates on
with the help of the loops (7, fig. E). Ties the laces
(6) and fasten the Velcro fastener (5). Push the
notched strap (1) into the opening beneath the
rocker/push buckle (2) and adjust to the appropri-
ate tension (Fig. F). Close the quick-release fastener
(4) until you hear an audible CLICK. After closing,
your foot must be securely held inside the skates.
This is important if you are to maintain control when
skating. The outer shoe should not distort when clos-
ing the quick-release fastener. Do not close it with
force.
3. To take the skates off, push the pressure slider (3) of
the quick-release fastener (4) in the direction of the
arrow and open the quick-release fastener (Fig. B).
