INSTALLATIE

Deze wekker werkt op 230V. Hij heeft tevens een mogelijkheid tot batterij back-up, waarmee de wekker

blijft werken ingeval van een stroomstoring of als u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt om een andere

plaats voor de wekker te kiezen.

Sluit een 9Volt batterij blokje (niet meegeleverd) aan op het stekkertje in het batterijvakje aan de

onderzijde. Schuif de ALARM HOOG/LAAG/UIT schakelaar (1) in de UIT stand.

Steek de stekker in een stopcontact, de display knippert tot u de juiste tijd heeft ingesteld. De display

knippert ook als er een stroomstoring heeft plaatsgevonden en u geen back-up batterij heeft geplaatst,

of als deze leeg is.

BELANGRIJK

Plaats de wekker niet in een vochtige omgeving, of op een plaats waar hij in water terecht zou kunnen

komen. Indien dit toch gebeurt, dient u de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen alvorens de wekker uit

het water te halen.

HET INSTELLEN VAN DE TIJD

Houd de TIJD INSTEL KNOP (2) ingedrukt.

Druk op de UUR INSTEL KNOP (3) tot het juiste uur getoond wordt. Opm: zodra u de tijd voorbij 12 uur

‘s middags instelt, verschijnt een rode punt bij de PM aanduiding in de display.

Druk op de MINUTEN INSTEL KNOP (4) tot de juiste minuten getoond worden.

Laat de TIJD INSTEL KNOP (2) los zodra de juiste tijd is ingesteld.

HET INSTELLEN VAN DE ALARMTIJD

Schuif de ALARM HOOG/LAAG/UIT schakelaar (1) in de positie Hoog of Laag, een rode punt

verschijnt bij de alarm aanduiding in de display.

Houd de ALARM INSTEL KNOP (5) ingedrukt.

Druk op de MINUTEN INSTEL KNOP (4) tot de juiste minuten getoond worden.

Laat de ALARM INSTEL KNOP (5) los zodra de juiste alarmtijd is ingesteld.

Het alarm en de alarmlichten (7) worden automatisch ingeschakeld zodra de alarmtijd bereikt wordt.

U kunt de ingestelde alarmtijd controleren door op de ALARM INSTEL KNOP (5) te drukken.

Opmerking: de ingestelde alarmtijd blijft in het geheugen staan zolang de stekker in het stopcontact zit.

Het alarm zal elke dag op dezelfde tijd opnieuw afgaan.

SLUIMER FUNCTIE EN ALARM STOPPEN

Druk op de SLUIMER KNOP (6) om het alarm tijdelijk te stoppen, dit gaat dan na 9 minuten opnieuw

af.

Als u niet wilt dat het alarm afgaat, schuift u de ALARM HOOG/LAAG/UIT KNOP (1) in de UIT positie.

Als u wilt dat het alarm weer afgaat schuift u de schakelaar in de HOOG/LAAG positie.

HET HOOG/LAAG ALARM

Schuif de alarm schakelaar in de HOOG/LAAG positie, het alarm gaat op de ingestelde tijd af.

BATTERIJ BACK-UP

Door het plaatsen van een 9Volt batterij zoals hiervoor omschreven, zal de klok blijven werken ingeval

van een stroomstoring of als u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt.

De display licht echter niet op en het alarm gaat niet af als de wekker niet op het lichtnet is aangesloten,

dit om de batterij te sparen.

Het back-up systeem is handig in geval van een korte stroomstoring. Als de storing langer duurt kan de

batterij leeg raken of kan de tijd niet meer correct zijn. Als de batterij leeg is dient u hem te verwijderen

om lekkage en beschadiging te voorkomen.

Als u de batterij back-up niet wenst te gebruiken, werkt de klok ook zonder batterij. Als u echter de

stekker uit het stopcontact haalt, knippert de display na het weer aansluiten en dient u de tijd en de

alarmtijd opnieuw in te stellen.

POWER SUPPLY

Please check that the mains electricity power supply is the same as the AC rating indicated on the label

on the base of the clock.

INSTALLATION:

 This unit operates by AC mains power supply. It also has a built-in battery backup facility, which

keeps the electronics clock working in the event of temporary power failure or disconnection from

the mains.

 Place one 9 volt alkaline battery (type 522 or equivalent) into the battery compartment (located in

the bottom of unit) and connect the corresponding terminals, (battery not included). Set the

ALARM HI/LOW/OFF SWITCH (1) to "OFF" position.

 Plug the AC line cord to a CONVENIENT AC power outlet and switch it on. The clock will flash on

and off until it has been set correctly. Flashing will also occur if the power supply is interrupted

when no battery is installed, or the battery is exhausted.

IMPORTANT

Do not install the clock where it can fall, or be pulled or pushed into water. Never reach for an

appliance after it has fallen into water. Switch off at the power point and unplug immediately.

SETTING THE NORMAL TIME

 Hold down the TIME SET BUTTON (2)

 Press the HOUR SET BUTTON (3) until the correct hour is shown on the clock display.

NOTE: PM time is indicated by the PM light.

 Press the MINUTE SET BUTTON (4) until the correct time appear on the clock display.

 Release the buttons as time is set precisely.

TO SET WAKE TO ALARM

 Slide the ALARM HI/LOW/OFF SWITCH (1) to the required position.

 Press and hold down the ALARM SET BUTTON (5), and while this button is depressed, press the

HOUR SET BUTTON (3) and then the MINUTE SET BUTTON (4) until it reaches the time which you

wish to wake up. The wake up time is entered in its memory.

 Release the ALARM SET BUTTON (5).

 The alarm and the LED LIGHT (7) will switch on automatically at the pre-set wake up time.

 You can check the pre-set wake up time by pressing the ALARM SET BUTTON (4) at any time.

NOTE: This pre-set wake-up time will remain or continue to be restored in the time memory as long

as the clock is connected to the power supply, and the Alarm will switch on by itself at the same time

next day.

SNOOZE CONTROL AND TO STOP THE ALARM

 Press the SNOOZE BUTTON (7) to stop the Alarm for a while, however, it will repeat after 9

minutes.

 If you do not need the Alarm, simply switch the ALARM HI/LOW/OFF SWITCH (1) to “OFF” position.

If you wish the Alarm function again, switch it to “HI/LOW” position.

TO OPERATE THE HI/LOW ALARM

Switch the ALARM HI/LOW/OFF SWITCH (1) to the “HI/LOW” position, the Clock will operate the

Tone alarm automatically.

BATTERY BACKUP

 By installing a 9 volt battery as described previously, the clock will continue to operate in the event

of a short temporary power failure or temporary disconnection of the power cord.

 The clock display will not light up, and the Alarm will not function while the AC mains power supply

is interrupted.

 The battery backup system is useful for short, temporary power failures. If main power is

disconnected for longer duration, the battery may become exhausted, or there may be some loss of

timing accuracy. When the battery is exhausted, it should be removed from the set, to prevent

damage from leakage.

 If you do not wish to use the battery backup, the clock will operate normally without a battery.

However, if disconnected from the main supply, the clock display will flash when the power is

reconnected and the clock must be reset as described earlier.
