Safety
â˘î Before starting to use theîtool, check that it is complete and undamaged.
Theîtool or its accessories must not be used if they have been dropped or
damaged in any way.
â˘î The power lead should be checked regularly.
If theîpower cable is damaged it can only be replaced by theîretailer or qualiďŹed
service technician.
â˘î The nozzle of tool must not be pointed in theîdirection of electrical appliances
orîďŹttings.
â˘î Never open theîlid of theîwater tank or unscrew theîhose during use or before
theîtool has cooled. Waitîat least 5 minutes after theîtool has been unplugged.
â˘î Do not move theîstripper by pulling theîlead, use theîhandle.
â˘î Do not stand on theîtool and avoid standing on theîhose.
â˘î Keep theîhose in order. Ifîit should kink or become tangled, unplug theîstripper
atîonce and let it cool down before rectifying theîfault.
â˘î Make sure that theîmains power at theîsocket is 230 V AC, that extension leads
have an area of at least 1.5 mm² and that an RCD is ďŹtted.
â˘î Do not cover or block theîpressure relief valve.
â˘î Place theîwallpaper stripper on an even and level surface, otherwise it
might overheat.
â˘î Always hold theîsteam pad away from your face. Watchîout for drops of water,
especially when working over head height.
â˘î Use only clean water and do not overďŹll.
â˘î Never add detergent or other chemicals to theîwater.
â˘î Never direct theîsteam towards people, animals or anything that might
be damaged.
â˘î Always unplug theîtool from theîwall socket after use and before cleaning.
â˘î Never leave theîtool unattended whilst it is plugged in.
â˘î Never place theîtool close to sources of heat such as ďŹres, radiators, fan heaters, etc.
â˘î The tool is ďŹtted with aîthermostat that regulates theîtemperature and prevents
overheating. Ifîtheîtemperature continues to rise above working temperature,
unplug theîtool immediately. Sendîtheîtool in for service.
â˘î Never cover theîtool during or directly after use.
