Safety
General requirements for household electrical appliances
⢠Theîproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability
or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of theîproduct

⢠Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by

Warning: Neverîcover theîproduct. Ifîcovered, there is
aîrisk of overheating or evenîďŹre.

⢠Theîproduct can become very hot during use and causeîburns.
Burnîhazard. Special care must be taken if theîproduct is used
in theîsame room as young children, aged or inďŹrm persons.
⢠Theîproduct must never be placed directly beneath aîwall socket.
⢠Never use theîproduct in theîimmediate vicinity of bathtubs,
showers or swimmingîpools.
⢠Theîappliance must be kept out of reach of children under
3îyears of age unless they are under constant supervision.

theîappliance on/off provided that it has been placed or installed
in its intended normal operating position and they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of theîappliance
in aîsafe way and understand theîhazards involved.
⢠Children between theîages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in,
regulate and clean theîappliance or perform user maintenance.

Warning: Dangerous voltage
⢠Theîproduct should not be used if it is in any way damaged
or malfunctioning. Doînot use theîproduct if theîmains lead or
plug is damaged in anyîway.
⢠Theîmains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisîis to
prevent theîrisk of electric shock or ďŹre and should only be
carried out by theîmanufacturer, qualiďŹed service facility or
qualiďŹed technician.
⢠Theîproduct must not be taken apart or modiďŹed. Certain
unshielded components inside theîhousing carry dangerous
voltages. Contact with these can lead to ďŹre or electricîshock.
⢠Never lower theîproduct into water or other liquids.
⢠Never touch theîcontrol panel or plug with wetîhands.
⢠Never use theîproduct in theîrain or in wet conditions.
Warning
⢠Never leave theîproduct unattended while inîuse.
⢠Do not touch any hot surfaces on theîproduct; doing so could
result inîburns. Neverîmove theîproduct while it is in use or
before it has cooledîdown.
⢠Fire hazard. Flammable materials such as furniture, paper,
clothing and curtains must be at kept at aîdistance of at least
120îcm away from theîfront of theîproduct above and at least
50îcm in all other directions.
