TO SELECT PROPER PLUG:
UK - Push the button on the left side all the
way down to where UK is indicated. Push in
and slide both side buttons on the top of the
unit from front to back. Then, bring down
the middle prong from the top of the unit.
Europe - Push the button on left side to the
middle position where Europe is indicated.
Place thumb and finger in the openings and
pull out to bring down plug.
North America/South America/Japan -
Push the button on left side all the way up to
where USA/AUST/NZ is indicated. Push in
and slide both side buttons on the bottom of
the unit from front to back. Prongs will be
straight up and down.
Australia/New Zealand - Push the button on
left side all the way up to where USA/AUST/
NZ is indicated. Push in and slide both side
buttons on the bottom of the unit from front
to back. Swivel each prong to the proper angle
(as shown).
Note: When using a 2- or 3-prong Australia/
New Zealand appliance you may need to
apply some force to the plug to insert it
all the way.
If the unit is plugged in and the indicator light
is off the unit is not giving surge protection.
All plugs must be retracted before the button
on the left side can be switched to a
different country.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (at our option)
your unit free of charge for 12 months from
the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return
the defective product to the service center
listed below, together with your purchase
receipt and $5.00 for postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof
of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR
for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall
be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS,
OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED
IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION
OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE
FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH
OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY,

Reino Unido - Ponga el selector de tensión
(el botón a la izquierda del adaptador) en
la posición “UK”. Hunda y deslice los dos
botones laterales de arriba hacia atrás. Baje
la pata central.
Europa - Ponga el selector de tensión (el
botón a la izquierda del adaptador) en la
posición “Europe”. Baje las patas cilíndricas.
América del norte/América latina/Japón -
Ponga el selector de tensión (el botón a
la izquierda del adaptador) en la posición
“USA/AUST/NZ”. Hunda y deslice los dos
botones laterales de abajo hacia atrás. Las
patas planas saldrán.

de tensión (el botón a la izquierda del
adaptador) en la posición “USA/AUST/NZ”.

DIRECTIVES D’UTILISATION:
Royaume Uni - Régler le sélecteur de tension
(bouton de gauche) sur « UK ». Enfoncer
et faire glisser les boutons latéraux supérieurs
vers l’arrière. Baisser la broche du milieu.
Europe - Régler le sélecteur de tension
(bouton de gauche) sur « Europe ». Baisser
les fiches rondes.
Amérique du Nord/Amérique du Sud/Japon-
Régler le sélecteur de tension (bouton de
gauche) sur « USA/AUST/NZ ». Enfoncer et
faire glisser les boutons latéraux inférieurs
vers l’arrière. Les broches plates sortiront.
Australie/Nouvelle Zélande - Régler le
bouton de sélection de la tension (bouton
de gauche) sur « USA/AUST/NZ ». Enfoncer
et faire glisser les boutons latéraux inférieurs
vers l’arrière. Les broches plates sortiront.
Positionner les broches en V inverse,
comme indiqué.
Remarques : Les prises des appareils
australiens s’enfonceront dans l’adaptateur avec
un peu de difficulté. Il faudra bien appuyer.
Si l’adaptateur est branché mais les témoins
lumineux sont éteints, le suppresseur de
surtension n’est pas opérationnel.
Toutes les fiches doivent être à la position
initiale avant de pouvoir déplacer le sélecteur
de tension.
